A big thank you to everybody that supported our coffee and cake morning in aid of MABS Cancer Support Group yesterday. Also a personal thank you from me to all the staff and customers who baked and faked cakes for the day, and Jan for running a football card, Sheena for selling all those raffle tickets Cameron and Shannon for calling the raffle, Sue & Emily for cleaning up World War 3!! It was a great day and I hope you all enjoyed it. We do have raffle prizes waiting collection so if you have tickets please pop in and check if you've won. We also ran guess the number of smarties in the jar won by Lesley & Chris with their guess of 710! Actual number was 720 😀 so congratulations to all winners. Bob & Ros Clayton who manage the local branch of MABS have been in touch today and it's great to announce that all together we raised 759€ yesterday ❤ and not a slice of cake left!!! Dont forget Coffee & Cake morning tomorrow from 11am until 3pm in aid of MABS Cancer Support Group. All of our staff have been faking & baking in aid of the event so come and try some homemade banoffee pie, chocolate cakes, baileys cake, white chocolate cookies and many many more. We also have volunteers who will be dropping their cakes off in the morning to which and I would like to say a big thank you in advance. We also have a raffle running at the moment and will be drawn tomorrow at 3pm so please do come and support us and help to raise as much money for MABS. We will be holding a Coffee & Cake Morning at Mels Kitchen on Friday 29th September 2016 from 11am until 3pm. to raise money for our local MABS cancer support group ran by Bob & Ros Clayton. We raised 685€ last year on our first attempt and would love to increase it this year!! We have received donations from staff and customers who will be baking (& buying) cakes to sell on the day. However, we are still looking for more so if you have any spare time and would like to bake a cake to donate or if you have any unwanted items/gifts for the raffle then please let me know as soon as possible!! To the lowlife/s who have stolen our remaining 8 white chairs (shown above) from our terrace, you should be absolutely ashamed of yourself/selves. What gives anyone any right at all to remove property from someone elses business. This happened between 1230am and 830am this morning. Anyone with information please let us know as these acts tarnish not only hardworking people of the urbanisation, who are trying their hardest to earn a fair living, but gives La Marina a bad name itself. 😡😡
