facebook.comHANGING AROUND, WAITING FOR MAMBA - 1 ARRESTED. On Monday, 4 September 2017, Mamba Reaction Officer, Phillip, responded to a premises in Fountain Road, Eastleigh. When he got to the main entrance to the premises, he noticed a trolley under the gate. Phillip opened the gate and he saw a suspect hanging upside down on the fence. The suspect tried to jump over the electric fence and barbed wire and his feet got caught in the process. After the suspect got untangled, he was handed over to SAPS. #MambaCrimeFlash
SPRING CLEANING EDENVALE’S STREETS - ANOTHER ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION OF DRUGS. On Sunday, 3 September 2017, CPF patroller Jeffery spotted a suspect at the skate park in Edenvale and suspected him of possession of marijuana. Mamba Shift Manager, Brett, assisted Jeffery. After a search it was found that the suspect had marijuana and R2000 cash in his possession. He was arrested and handed over to SAPS. #MambaCrimeFlash
3 SUSPECTS ARRESTED - MODDERFONTEIN On Saturday, 2 September 2017, a domestic worker at Cecil Auret Road, Illiondale, was tied up by 6 suspects and robbed of her belongings. The suspects came through the neighbouring premises. Once inside, the suspects proceeded to the domestic’s cottage at the back of the yard and forced open the door. While the domestic was sleeping, the suspects tied her up and wrapped her with her duvet. They then started to search the cottage for valuables. They stole R2200 cash, a panic button and perfume. Mamba Reaction Officer, Edmore, was searching the area for the suspects and came accross 3 men in a veld towards Modderfontein. The men saw the Mamba vehicle and started to run away. Edmore gave chase with back up and stopped them at a robot towards Greenstone. The 3 suspects were searched and it was found that they were in possession of 5 cell phones, R1200 cash with different wallets and perfumes. The suspects were taken back to the scene where the domestic had to identify them. Although the items were not hers and she also stated the men who robbed her were carrying firearms, SAPS took the suspects back to the police station for profiling. #MambCrimeFlash
SPRING DAY OFF TO A GOOD START - 1 ARRESTED IN GERMISTON. On Friday, 1 September 2017, Mamba Primrose Owner, Elaine, received a message from a client in Lunar Road, Germiston, reporting a suspect that had entered a property near by. Mamba Reaction Officer, Benjamin, as well as Shift Manager, Brett, were dispatched. Upon arrival, they noticed the sliding door has been removed and was lying on the grass. They searched the house and found the suspect hiding inside. He was arrested and handed over to SAPS. Well done to Reaction Officer Benjamin for making the arrest! #MambaCrimeFlash
MAMBA’S DREAM TEAM - 2 ARRESTED IN SEBENZA Early Thursday morning, 31 August 2017, Mamba Control Centre received a call from a guard at a business in Mpande Road, Sebenza. He reported 2 suspects removing covers from containers at a neighbouring business. 3 Mamba Reaction Officers arrived and the suspects tried to flee. Reaction Officers, Innocent, Sakhile and Thomas saw the suspects trying to get away and stopped them in their tracks. After investigation it was found that the suspects stole plastic drums. The suspects were arrested and handed over to Sebenza SAPS. #MambaCrimeFlash
STOLEN GOODS RECOVERED AT CONSTRUCTION SITE BREAK IN - ELANDSFONTEIN At 23:23 on Thursday night, 31 August 2017, a Mamba Client at Joseph Road, Elandsfontein, called our Control Centre. He reported that he had seen suspects on a construction site CCTV footage. The suspects had gained entrance by making a hole in the perimeter fence. A Mamba Reaction Officer, along with backup from the Special Operations Unit and Shift Manager Brett, were dispatched. Once they arrived on scene, they found the site storage containers were broken into. After further investigation, they recovered 5 compactors and break in tools. #MambaCrimeFlash

MAMBA WEEDING OUT THE MISFITS - 1 ARRESTED IN EDENVALE On Friday evening, 25 August 2017, Mamba supported the Edenvale SAPS with a crime prevention solidarity campaign. The parade ended near a pub in Edenvale. Mamba Guarding Manager, Josias, saw a suspicious man walking into the pub bathroom. When he came out, Josias asked if he can search him. Josias found 2 bags of marijuana hidden in the pockets of the suspect’s jacket. SAPS were already on the scene and the suspect was arrested. Well done to Josias for always being on the lookout and keeping Edenvale’s streets clean. #MambaCrimeFlash
YOU CAN’T TAKE A RISK WITH MAMBA AROUND - 1 ARRESTED On Monday morning, 28 August 2017, our Security Senior Consultant, Chris, was doing a site survey at a client in Spartan when a customer arrived to pick up goods at a value of R65,000. The same customer performed fraudulent transactions to the value of R39,000 at the premises the previous week. Chris phoned Mamba Shift Manager, Brett, to assist . Brett detained the suspect and he was handed over to SAPS. The investigations will be done to trace the others involved. #MambaCrimeFlash
