Description
Lesce Airport - Letališče Lesce (ICAO: LJBL) is located near Lesce, in the northwest part of Slovenia, only a few kilometers from the famous tourist resort of Bled. Road connections with Austria, Italy and Ljubljana are possible via the A2 motorway.
The operator of the airport is the Public Commercial Institution ALC Lesce-Bled, established by the nearby municipality of Radovljica. Permanent users of the airport include Aero Club ALC Lesce-Bled (gliding school, private pilot school, parachuting school) , helicopter company Flycom, aircraft maintenance company Aeroservice Meze, branch office of maintenance company Aviationservice and others.
On airport is located restaurant with terrace that offers a beautiful view of the runway and Julian Alps on background.
