In addition to a state-of-the-art indoor facility, Active Q has an open-air studio with a full programme of activities including yoga, bootcamp & Pilates. Active Q is located on roundabout 2 in Quinta do Lago and there you can find in addition to a state-of-the-art indoor facility, an open-air studio with a full programme of activities. Find here the schedule of exercise classes. Active Q also organises beach boot camp sessions and running or biking along the scenic nature trails.

The gym was opened in 2011 and was conceived by Graham Morgan to get people out exercising and enjoying the positive environmental features and lifestyle benefits that Quinta do Lago offers.

External Rotation: Exercise Execution 1. Adjust the cable to the same height as your elbow. Stand with your left side to the band a couple of feet away. 2. Grasp the handle with your right hand, and keep your elbow pressed firmly to your side. We recommend you hold a pad or foam roll in place with your elbow to keep it firmly in position. 3. With your upper arm in position, your elbow should be flexed to 90 degrees with your hand reaching across the front of your torso. This will be your starting position. 4. Execute the movement by rotating your arm in a backhand motion, keeping your elbow in place. 5. Continue as far as you are able, pause, and then return to the starting position. ☆ Do you need help? EVERYTHING is done as close to maximum effort as possible. The idea is to pound the life out the bag both HARD & FAST left-right, left-right, left-right stylie. If you're not panting half way through your first 60 secs you ain't hitting it right lol. Remember this particular workout isn't about technique it's about CARDIO. 60 punches low. 60 punches mid. 60 punches high. 60 punches mid. 60 punches low. 60 crunches. 60 secs steel chair. 60 secs recovery. That's 1 set. Today I did 3 sets as part of my 60 minute workout. So give it whirl and let me know how you get on. Now we work. 👇🏿1 set 👇🏿 how many sets? 5 BRUV, FIVE. 3 mins bag work. 30 secs core of your choice. 30 secs battle ropes. 30 secs squats. 15 secs balance on each leg on bosu ball. 2-3 minutes recovery. Collapse and think about what the fluff just happened. Now grab yourself a foam roller and some bands and STRETCH and FOAM ROLL for a minimum of TWENTY MINUTES. Don't neglect the stretch n roll or do it half heartedly or tomorrow you probably won't be able to move as freely as you'd like. Now Leme know how you get on.
