DGPC | Agenda | Reabertura do Museu de Arte Popular - Exposição: "Da Fotografia ao Azulejo"

No próximo dia 14 de Dezembro, pelas 18h30, no Museu de Arte Popular, em Lisboa, será inaugurada a exposição “Da Fotografia ao Azulejo: povo, monumentos e paisagens de Portugal na primeira metade do século XX”, na presença de Sua Excelência o Ministro da Cultura. Nela estarão patentes painéis produzidos na Aleluia Cerâmicas, S.A. e na sua unidade de Sintra, a centenária Fábrica de Cerâmica Viúva Lamego. Esta exposição já passou pela cidade do Porto e por Espanha e poderá ser visitada entre 15 de Dezembro de 2016 e 1 de Outubro de 2017. It includes several panels produced in Aleluia Cerâmicas, S.A. and in its unit of Sintra, the centenary Ceramic Factory Viúva Lamego. This exhibition has already been shown in Oporto and Spain, and can be visited between 2016, December 15th and 2017, October 1st. É na Quinta de Quetzal, em Vila de Frades, no coração do Alentejo, que encontramos um grande painel de azulejos, produzido na Aleluia Cerâmicas, S.A., a sua unidade de Sintra, a Fábrica de Cerâmica Viúva Lamego. É logo à entrada da sala onde funciona o restaurante que o nosso olhar se fixa de imediato num grande painel composto por 915 azulejos e com uma área de 17,94 metros quadrados, com um desenho colorido de um Quetzal, a ave que dá nome à quinta e também a alguns dos seus vinhos. Produzido na unidade de Sintra da Aleluia Cerâmicas, S.A. e inspirado numa ilustração da magnífica Henriette Arcelin, uma artista que tem trabalhado várias vezes com a Viúva Lamego, este grande painel é o cartão-de-visita do restaurante, merecendo honras de destaque numa das suas paredes. Ver mais em: http://bit.ly/2gVUdfW http://bit.ly/2fRsTgU It is in Quinta de Quetzal, Vila de Frades, in the heart of the Alentejo region, that we can find a large tile panel, produced at Aleluia Cerâmicas, S.A., in its Sintra unit, the Viúva Lamego Ceramic Factory. At the entrance to the room where the restaurant is located we immediately fix our eyes on this large panel composed of 915 tiles, with an area of 17.94 square meters. It portrays a colourful drawing of a Quetzal, the bird that gives the name to the Quinta and also to some of their wines. Produced in the Sintra unit of Aleluia Cerâmicas, S.A. this panel is inspired on an illustration by the exceptional artist Henriette Arcelin, who has been working with Viúva Lamego in several art works. This large panel is the restaurant's business card, having a great prominence in one of its walls. Foi inaugurado no passado dia 21 de Outubro, no Jardim Botto Machado, em Lisboa, um extenso mural de azulejos pintados à mão pelo artista André Saraiva, com uma área total de 1011.1 m2,188 metros de comprimento e composto por 52.738 azulejos. A Aleluia Cerâmicas S.A. desenvolveu um trabalho de estreita colaboração com o artista no desenvolvimento de novas técnicas de pintura que permitissem assegurar nos azulejos o efeito de graffiti, linguagem que distingue o seu trabalho. On October 21st, a large mural of tiles painted by the artist André Saraiva, with a total area of 1011.1 sqm, 188 meters long and consisting of 52,738 tiles was presented to the public in the garden Botto Machado in Lisbon. Aleluia Cerâmicas, S.A. worked on close collaboration with the artist in the development of new painting techniques that allowed the tiles to produce the graffiti effect which distinguishes his work.
