New HIV Vaccine and Microbicide Advocacy Society (NHVMAS)
Description
NHVMAS was established in mid 2003 as a broad movement of vaccine and microbicides advocates. The New HIV Vaccine and Microbicide Advocacy Society (NHVMAS), promotes active community participation in HIV prevention research and development through education and empowerment of the research enterprise community.
These efforts include training on research literacy for members of potential communities engaged in HIV research, training on HIV prevention research ethics for community gate keepers and policy advocacy to promote conduct of ethical HIV prevention researches in Nigeria.
