Speakers Den, with the the visionary leadership of the coordinator/president Somto Okeke Charles,As a speaker who speaks on Entrepreneurship 21st century Education,life skill,personal development and my mandate to raise a new generation of people(mostly youths)in all areas of life.we are committed to achieving our aim through seminars,mentorship sessions,networking,among other platforms.

Speakers Den is not meant for only speaker. You dont have to be a speaker before you are a member of this platform . WOW'S DAILY DEVOTIONAL. THURSDAY, 7TH APRIL 2016 TOPIC : TROUBLED HEART? TEXT: But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 1 Corinthians 11:28 The Bible makes several references to the heart. The heart is pretty powerful. I'm not just speaking of the vessel which pumps blood but also the feelings that govern the soul (mind, will, and emotions). It's because of the heart that man can either serve their world and be a blessing, or kill someone such as what the legal world calls, "crimes of passion," which all start with a meditation of heart. The heart is mentioned more than 800 times in the Bible so it must be pretty important to God as well. As a believer, we must be sure and examine our hearts daily. Did someone or something get on your nerves or rub you the wrong way? If so, why? Search your heart and ask God what your current feelings are all about. Pray that it goes away if it's not of God; ask Him to create in you a clean heart if necessary like David did. Is your heart troubled? The Word of God says in John 14:1, Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. The word, trouble, in this Scripture means, to agitate, to cause one inward commotion, take away his calmness of mind, disturb his equanimity, to disquiet, make restless, to stir up, to strike one's spirit with fear and dread, to render anxious or distressed, to perplex the mind of one by suggesting scruples or doubts. If your heart is troubled, what's the source of it? Is it fear? Are you anxious about something? Studies have proven that meditation is an effective way to ease the mind and eradicate stress. If necessary, take a moment out of your day to simply sit still, breath in and out and meditate while thinking on whatsoever things are pure, lovely, and of a good report. Whatever it is that you may be troubled about, find Scriptures that speak peace over the situation and meditate on them. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:8 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Psalm 51:10 Blessed by this? Be a blessing and share this with others
WOW'S DAILY DEVOTIONAL. WEDNESDAY, 6TH APRIL, 2016. TOPIC : NEVER ANY WASTED TIME. TEXT: And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmer worm, my great army which I sent among you. DEVOTIONAL : Sometimes we look back at our lives and experiences and view it as time wasted. We look at the degree we earned but never really used, the relationships that didn't last, the activities and hobbies we engaged in while growing up which we've laid down or stop doing years ago. Some even sigh with hopes of doing it all over again while making more productive use of their time next time. For today's daily devotional I'd like to encourage you with the following: "Preparation time is never lost time." God will use all that He's given you, all of your talents, all of your skills, one day if you just remain pliable and receive instruction from Him as far as what He would have you to do with your life. He gave you those skills for a reason; it's all in preparation for your future. God doesn't waste anything. Even Jesus told His disciples, after He fed over 5,000 people with five loaves of bread and two fishes to pick up the fragments of food left behind as to not waste it. (John 6:1-13) In regards to previous relationships, like I always say instead of just coming out of a relationship, learn out of a relationship. Time spent in previous relationships that went sour now brings you one step closer to knowing what it is you're really looking for and how you should respond in your next relationship. If nothing else, it may have taught you to seek God every step of the way and pray everything through while guarding your heart. So no, you did not waste your time and no, you have not wasted your life away. The God we serve is a God of a second, third, fourth and fifth chance and He will restore that which was lost as you continue to abide in His presence and allow Him to prepare you for the future He has for you. And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. If you believe this, declare restoration into your life... God bless you. Amen.
