People who truly loved you will feel sorry. Close friends will be sad for some time, Family members will feel terrible for weeks, months or probably years. By then, no one will be worrying about you, You'll be left alone in your grave, Having nothing but your deeds, good or bad ones!!! Evangelion - The Good News Where do I go from here? There is an old saying "What you don't know won't hurt you” I don't believe it's an idea to ever nurse in your mind. The bible said in Hosea 4:6 "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge..." From the above scripture I can say that what you don’t know will not only hurt you but destroy you. In order to catch a light from this writing, please read till the end with an open heart. I pray that God will give you an understanding. Amen. “The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.” (Psalm 119:130) If you buy a piece of equipment it usually comes with a manual. This manual contains information about the equipment ranging from how to operate it to maintenance etc. To make the best out of the equipment you need to go through the manual to understand how to make the best out of it. No one knows better than the manufacturer and that’s why the manual is included to guide you. You don’t know Toyota motors more than Toyota - the manufacturer. Your mechanic knows to some extent on how to fix your car but not greater than the manufacturer. You don’t know your phone more than the manufacturer even though you do a whole lot of things with it. So my question are who created you? Did your creator add a manual to help you make the best out of your life just like every other equipment? I am not comparing man with a piece of equipment. Just to explain a point. YES! There is manual handed to human race. The BIBLE! It is the word of God. That’s the manual God has given us to help operate our life smoothly without a hitch. The bible in Joshua 1:8 says "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success." Note the three key point from the scripture above. 1. Shall not depart out of thy mouth. 2. Shall meditate therein day and night. 3. Observe to do according to all that is written therein. And the results are thus: “Thou shall make thy way prosperous and then thou shalt have good success.” Wow, this is fabulous. I guess the results are what all mankind is striving for. Yes or no? How often do you read and meditate on this book? How often do you search the bible for solutions times you are faced with challenges? God created man in his own image. In other words he knows better than anyone how best to operate a man. To make the best out of life you need the creator and the manual he has handed to you. During creation, God created the heaven and earth, all that were created came from a source. He wanted to make something out of and then he spoke to the source. When God wanted fish, he spoke to the water. “And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life,...” (Genesis 1:20). “And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly...” (Genesis 1:21) When God wanted plant he spoke to the Earth. “And God said, let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.” (Genesis 1:11) Whatever God spoke to became the source from which the created things came from. What God created is in essence, like the substance from which it came from. But when it came to man, there was a shift. A total different thing happened. In Genesis 1:26-27 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: ………..So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” Did you notice the difference in these three scriptures above? God wanted grasses, he spoke to the earth. He wanted fishes he spoke to the water but when he wanted man, He spoke to himself. (Genesis 1:26-27) Let us make man...... Wow, this is awesome. My questions are thus: Can fish do without water? Can Plants do without the earth? If fish can't do without water, do you think man can do without God? Not only all things composed of that from which they came from, they must also remain attached to the source in order to live. What a life without the creator. What a life of struggles, enmity, hatred, envy, lack, unhappiness. The minutes the fish say to the water “I do not need you” They die. The minute man decides he doesn’t need God, he dies. Here, I don’t mean a physical death but a spiritual death. God told Adam that he dies the minute he eats from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” (Genesis 2:17) Death here doesn't mean a physical death but a spiritual death. Adam lived 920 years more. Spiritual death is cutting off our relationship with God. Cutting off that very image God breathed into man from God. “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”(Genesis 2:7) Man is a spirit, has a soul and lives in a body. The image you see in the mirror is not your real you – it’s only a covering. Your real you is your spirit and that’s what lives forever. If the spirit leaves the body, everyone rejects the body including your love ones and the body goes down some feet deep in the soil. It pains my spirit times I see men work so hard living after their body. Pleasing the body, committing all kinds of shameful sins but no attention is paid to the spirit man. Now let me shock you. You can only live at most 120 years here on the earth – 120 is the bible standard. How many have lived 120? What number do you often see on the obituary? Do you know that it's only the body that dies and the spirit lives forever? What a horror when you live all your life on the earth after the flesh, indulging in all forms of sexual immorality, stealing, lying etc and your soul is not saved. What does it profit you? “Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.” But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit. Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” (1Corinthians 6:15-20) Stop defiling your body. It’s the temple of Holy Spirit. Stop lying. Flee from iniquity. Lie is a deadly sin. It has become so common that we don’t even know when we lie any more. It has become a part of us that even parent lies to their children. Your child comes home and asks you for money and with your wallet full of money you open your mouth and reply him/her “I don’t have even a penny” LIE! You have a penny. In the bible lie is graded with Murder. In Proverbs 6:16-19 The Bible says “There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.” Stop taking lie as a common thing. The bible says in Revelation 21:8 “....all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” Do you not know that if your spirit ends up in the hell you will be tormented forever? Do you prefer 120 years of fun, living after the flesh and millions of years in pains - everlasting punishment. Religion has made it sounds like serving God is difficult and miserable. No! It’s not. Serving God in truth and in the spirit comes with a full package of all you ever need in life. Divine health, protection, favour, wisdom, Success, Well-being and every good thing you can think of. We live in this error that becoming a born again is a boring kind of life. When you serve God, prosperity is for sure. Prosperity not only in finance but round about. You are not prosperous if you have the whole oil ridges in the world and you are suffering from an ailment. Have you not heard of Abraham? “And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.” (Genesis 13:2). He was very wealthy. Abraham was a servant of God. What about David? Was he poor? David donated 3,000 talents of gold for the building of the temple. From my research, a talent is between 33-35kg. Let’s do a calculation based on the 33kg. At the time of writing this 1kg of gold = $35,819 33kg = 1talent = $1,182,027 3,000 talents = $3,546,081,000 I could be wrong with my figures. You can work it out. The bible in Matthew 6:33 says “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” What does the bible mean by “All these things” It means all the things men are dying for. God will naturally add them to you. “The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts.” (Haggai 2:8). To take delivery of all the benefits of serving God, you have to give your life to Christ and server God in truth and in the spirit The Bible in Isaiah 59:1-2 says “Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear” From the above Scripture, sin is what causes separation between you and God. In order to close this gap you have to give your life to Christ for he is the way to the Father. “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). The bible also in 2 Corinthians 5:17 Says “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.” “All things are become new.” It doesn't matter what you have done in the past as long as you start living a righteous life. “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” (Isaiah 1:18). Jesus is calling you. Are you ready to answer him? Is this the first time you are giving your life to Christ or have you done it time and over again and you keep falling back? This opportunity is for you. Pray thus with all your heart: Heavenly father, I come to you in the name of Jesus. Your word says, “Whoever shall call on the name of the lord shall be saved” (Act 2:21). I am calling on you. I pray and ask Jesus to come into my heart and be the lord over my life according to Romans 10:9-10 “if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” I do that now. I confess that Jesus is lord, and I believe in my heart that God raised him from the dead. I ask you to forgive all my sins and be my personal Lord and saviour. I am now reborn! I am a child of Almighty God! I am saved Amen. Congratulations!
