HHV is a social enterprise which focuses on integrated animal farming as well as provides voluntary services which range from sensitization, workshops, trainings and consultancy on entrepreneurial activities. Its head office is situated in Bauchi metropolitan area of Bauchi state and was established to meet the high demand of animal protein by the populace and also to challenge youth and women to see the vast untapped opportunity in the agricultural sector and key in to reduce unemployment, poverty, social vices as well as increase the gross domestic product of our nation.
PRODUCTION
We produce quality animals which include: Poultry, grasscutter, goat, fish and cattle. We also provide services such as semi-automatic poultry and potato processing at affordable prices, sensitization, trainings, workshops and consultation free.
POULTRY
We perform different activities in the poultry section. These ranges from brooding and re-sell of chicks to farmers, rearing of broilers and turkey to maturity for sale as live, freshly processed or frozen chicken, to meet customer’s choice.
GRASSCUTTER
Grasscutters are wild animals that have been domesticated for the purpose of meat. They belong to the Order rodent (the same family with giant rat but are bigger and have some features like goat) and feed solely on grasses. Their meat is very palatable and contains very less cholesterol compare to all other animals. It is usually the meat for the rich owing to its high cost. However, we at HHV have the interest of the less privilege at heart and that’s why we are offering it at a cheaper price for the masses to access.

FISH
We produce fresh live fish of high value at affordable prices.
GOAT
Our high quality breed of goats are in varieties; males, females and castrated fed under good hygiene and good nutrition. We sell in unit and in bulk.
CATTLE
HHV buys bulls and cows from Fulani herdsmen and other individuals for the purpose of fattening and breeding. Our cattle are placed on high plane of nutrition, vitamins and drugs to attain maximum weight before being sold to butchers, households, agencies, etc for either meat or reproduction purposes.

POULTRY PROCESSING
HHV is probably the first business outfit to purchase automatic poultry de-feathering (feather removal) and cutting machines in the north if not entire the Nigeria. This is owing to our innovative nature which leads to technological advancement through research and development.
Chicken plucker machine is used to remove the feather of the chicken, the duck, the goose and some other poultries. The machine is all made of stainless steel, work fast, clean and healthy.
The process involves:
•   Manual slaughter of the chicken by a religious butcher (either a Christian or Muslim base on the customer’s desire)
•   Scalding the poultry by hot water of 65-80 degree.
Feathers are quickly stripped by rubber fingers on the spinning base in addition to static rubber fingers on the walls. Chicken feathers are removed by placing the slaughtered bird into a rotating drum outfitted with rubber-like fingers that remove feathers through abrasion and washing. The whole process is about half minute.
