facebook.comLIFE IS JUST LIKE A PAGE 📟 EVERY NEW DAY BROACHES A NEW TOPIC. I was outside a tavern in my street in a round table arrangement in the midst of some guys and ladies sipping my Guinness Stout chilling out for the weekend when a Toyota Highlander drove past and one of the ladies sitting close to my table hissed and started to lament that the guy inside the vehicle 🚗 that just past would have married but her parents and friends advice made her to take a U-turn from her decisions. And I asked her what transpired between her decision and that of her friends and family 👪? She hissed again and told me that it was a long story but I pressed on to inquire what actually went wrong until she decides to broach the topic for discussions. Here she goes I was in final year as a Medical student of University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) when that guy that just drove past approached me for marriage though he was a Security man 👨 in one of the security company then, I knew him from a supermarket where he work as security guard, he's so jovial and kind too each time I came over to the supermarket to purchase some comestibles he will surely make me to laugh 😄 even when I don't feel like doing so in fact sometimes I go to the supermarket just because of him. One faithful day we exchanged phone 📱 numbers and start calling each other. Gradually we started falling in love 😍 for each other, and that's how we started dating. Two years after, he made his intentions known to me that he would like to marry me though he knew that am a university graduate with degree in medicine 💊. I told him to give me sometime to think over it, he agreed with my decision then two weeks after I have pensively rummaged my mind finding reasons to say no or yes but I found many reasons to live with him as my husband but the only shortcomings was maybe he's not a graduate like me and same time a security guard. On the third week I radioed him over phone call and told him that I've agreed with his proposals, he rushed to my house 🏠 like someone suffering from hysteria neurosis asking me if am sure or pulling his legs with I told him over the phone. I told that am serious but it was hard for him to believe. He told me that I should inform my people about it so that he can pick a date for him and his people to come for Introductions that is (Ịkwụ aka). Three days after I traveled to Enugu from Asaba to inform my parents about it, after my narrations to them, they inquired about the guys identity and what he does for a living after I've told them virtually everything about the dude. My Father told me that how can a mere security man marry her daughter whom he has trained in the university for better future and that Igwe like him will not sucumb to such idea immediately my mother joined him that she wouldn't allow that to happen. I tried as much as I can to persuade them see what am seeing but there were blind to see, even my friends were of same talk, how can a graduate like you marry ordinary security guard after much of those talks I was utterly discouraged and decided to do away from the relationship in fact I told him that I don't want to marry far away from my state, with my behaviors lately the guy saw that I was no longer interested in him, he gave up the chase and moved on. Few months later one of his friends arranged visa for him to travel to Japan to head one of his business there now he has become a billionaire he owns different cars and houses with four children and am approaching 40yrs still single. Then I too was heartbroken, she broke down with tears 😿 running down her cheeks. I tried consoling her that (Life is like a page each new day broaches a new topic) Let us always stick to our decisions, he who is poor today could be rich tomorrow, there's never been a useless somebody in life hence he/she is still breathing, each new day opens ones page. Whose Interests Are You Representing? Open Letter To South East Governors, By Charles Ogbu As written by Charles Ogbu Greetings, Your Excellencies, the governors of the land of the Rising Sun. It is with a heart burdened with sorrow that I write you today to register my grave displeasure over your criminal complicity in the woes of the people you purport to preside over. With your permissions, Your Excellencies, I will like to start this piece with questions which have dug a very deep hole in my heart for a very long time and the questions are: Whose interests are you representing as governors? Where does your loyalty lie? Why does it seem like your dominant default instinct is to please the Caliphate even if it means displeasing your people? Dear governors, those are questions on the lips of almost every Igbo youth and those questions must not just be asked, they must be answered. Your Excellencies, do you ever sit back and wonder why millions of Ndigbo have chosen to willingly follow Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in his quest to restore Biafra? I will tell you: As a people, Ndigbo have been oppressed, suppressed, dejected, isolated, marginalized, ridiculed, humiliated, haunted and murdered by the moral criminals and executive terrorists running the affairs of the Nigerian state since after the Biafran war. When Mr Hate-Made-Flesh, President Buhari, came on board, he elevated Igbo marginalization and dehumanization as an official govt policy. Two days ago, the Buhari-led govt brought in tanks and sophisticated military hardware into Ala-Igbo. It doesn’t take a ‘Dibia’ to know that those weapon will be used on the same people whose lives you are being paid to protect. In all these, You, the people who presume to be our governors didn’t just maintain criminal silence, you connived with our oppressors to ride roughshod over our wounds. Just for the pittance known as monthly allocation, you had no qualms turning a blind eye and living in denial of our pains and miseries and wars and woes. This year alone, you, the southeast governors, have visited Asorock more times than I can remember, to pledge your commitment to #OneNigeria which begs the questions: How many times have you visited Aso Rock to ask why Onitsha Seaport has remained comatose for years or to protest the non-inclusion of southeast in the rail project? How many times have you visited Asorock to ask why the entire production processes in Ala-Igbo have been emasculated to keep your people in state of perpetual penury? Despite being the most peaceful region in the entire country, the southeast has thrice the number of police and military men deployed to the Boko-haram ravaged Northeast. Even violence prone Gaza Strip and terrorist-infested Mount Sinai in MiddleEast do not boast of such high level of militarization. And these uniformed thugs brazenly extort monies from motorists and okada riders and humiliate those who try to resist their savagery. How many times have you gone to Asorock to protest this?? But how can you, when those uniformed extortionists and invaders are in Ala-Igbo with your full permissions?? What kind of #OneNigeria do you really want? A Nigeria where mediocrity and injustice walk on all four as obtains now or a Nigeria characterized by merit, justice and fairness?? Dear governors, we have lied to ourselves for far too long. Permit me to honour you with the courtesy of being blunt: We, Ndigbo, ARE NOT in the mess we are in today because we have a president whose access to oxygen seems to depend solely on how much hatred he can dish to us. Not at all. We are where we are today because we have the singular misfortune of being cursed with one of the most criminally insensitive set of governors in our history. A set of governors whose sense of governance is simply atrocious. A set of governors whose ‘Onye Ayana Nwanne Ya’ spirit is simply non-existent. A set of governors who are indeed Pharaohs but who have succeeded in acquiring the garbs of Moses. Your Excellencies, you are the biggest singular tragedy of Ndigbo. It grieves me beyond word to publicly admit this but it grieves me even more that it is true. Those millions of people you see following Nnamdi Kanu are indicative of the fact that the people you pretend to lead have lost faith in you. You have failed your people. You have failed Ala-Igbo and if you have any shread of honor, you will not disagree that you have failed even yourselves. You act and speak like psychological slaves and you waste no time in proving your loyalty to your fulani masters even if it means sacrificing your people. Your default inclination is to the Caliphate. Recently, one of you, governor Rochas Okorocha, bested Uncle Lucifer when he used soldiers to carry out a festival of blood reportedly killing not less than 4 persons including an 11 year old Somtochukwu Igboanusi, all in a bid to demolish the ancient Eke-ukwu market in Owerri. And I’m wondering, how does Okorocha sleep at night knowing he’s responsible for the death of the only male child of his parents?? The “No More Elections In Biafraland” currently being championed by IPOB is receiving wide acceptance NOT NECESSARILY because of Nnamdi Kanu but because when an average Igbo man looks around, he finds it extremely difficult to point to any time any of you Igbo governors have defended his interests. When fulani terrorists visit us with death, rather than act like governor Fayose, you act like Jeremiah, the weeping prophet. When our dues are denied us in Nigeria, you play deaf, dumb and blind. When fulani soldiers kill and bath us with acid even inside a Church, you play the devil’s advocate BUT when we say we want a referendum to enable us decide our future, you rush to Asorock to counter us. How can a people live with so called leaders who act like that?? I’m submitting to you, my dear governors, that the 5 of you are the co-authors of our misfortune as a people! But… I have good news for you: your cups of iniquity are yet to run over. You can still redeem yourselves. Please, in the name of the millions we lost to the Biafran war, rally round your people. Defend their right to life for once! Look the Caliphate in the eye for once and tell them that your people are no children of a lesser god. Stop holding Nicodemus meeting with Nnamdi Kanu with regards to Anambra elections. Instead, hold those meetings with the men in Asorock and demand that they give you something tangible, -something they consider a credible alternative to Biafra, promises and assurances, -to take back to your people. This is how to negotiate! Stop giving your permission for Buhari to militarize Ala-Igbo with his occupying forces. Those soldiers are here not to protect but to kill and maim and treat Ndigbo like a conquered people. Time for politics is over. Today, Ndigbo are facing grave existential challenges. This is the time to borrow a leaf from Our Father, Chief John Nnia Nwodo, the Ohaneze Ndigbo PG and stand with your people because the truth is, Biafrans are like seed. Even when you bury them, they don’t die, instead, they germinate. So when all this is over, rest assured, we will dis-remember Buhari and his fellow nightwalkers but we will forever remember your treachery and criminal complicity in our tragedy. Remember, your Excellencies, no man, no matter how powerful, can make a private bargain with history.
tional / Python Dance: ADF tasks Ndigbo not to hurt strangersPython Dance: ADF tasks Ndigbo not to hurt strangers— 16th September 2017By Ikenna EmewuThe Igbo interest pressure group, Alaigbo Development Foundation (ADF), has calledon the entire Igbo population in Igbo land to do no harm to strangers living in the South East of Nigeria. The call came after rumours of molestation and targeting of some non-Igbo especially northerners, at the wake of the Nigerian Army invasion of the South East since September 10.ADF further charged the law enforcement to do their best and protect strangers resident in Igbo land from any attack and also ensure that whoever involves in such attack as rumoured in the media is punished in accordance with the law.A statement from the leadership of the body cautioned that: “In spite of the present grave provocations, humiliations and slaughter in our homeland – PLEASE DO NO HARM TO YOUR GUESTS, those from other parts of Nigeria who dwell peacefully with you. Give them, their wives and children shelter and protection. Do no harm to them. Do no harm or attack their homes, businesses, their places of worship or recreation. But be vigilant.”Remember that in Arewa land many of their citizens, especially the commoners, are treated unfairly too, so remember thoseon whose behalf the Great Aminu Kano, one time friend of the Great Zik of Africa, fought – the Talakawas. The Talakawas, the Christians and the Igbo and other nationalities from the South are victims. Their leaders in the North Central, who like you reject this caste system, have recently cried out to the world that they and their people are victims of the policy of Islamization.”The ADF reminded Igbo that they are “known all over the world as industrious, peaceful, egalitarian and hospitable peopleand not for violence. The world also knowsthat Ndigbo are not cowards. Therefore, protect your families, wives and children, but never you hurt ant strangers among you. This is another difficult period in our history. But the Igbo have a history of unquenchable thirst for justice, equity and freedom that is being assaulted. Think back at Olauda Equiano, the great slave abolitionist who was once a slave himself, or King Jaja of Opobo who fought European slavery – what about the 1929 Igbo Women Rebellion against colonialism? Think of Dunbar Creek in St James Island, USA, where thirteen (13) Igbo citizens drowned themselves rather than become slaves; Haiti, and the 1967–70 Biafra War was not a war against Nigeria alone. It was a war with the great military powers of the world.”That war was lost, not only because it was against an overwhelming alliance of superior forces. It was lost mainly becausethe leadership of Ndigbo did not appreciate the political and diplomatic dynamics of the world at the time. Above all, they did not appreciate the wisdom of the Biblical David and Goliath in combat. It is futile and suicidal to confront a heavily armed army with bare hands, sticks, bottles and machetes alone.”If the Nigerian military has invaded our land, do not fall into their traps by rushing into battle with them with empty hands. Wemust think and rethink our situation vis-a-vis the enemy. Remain at home and come out only when it is absolutely necessary. This is not cowardice.Things have changed so much since 1967-70. Ndigbo are not alone in the struggle for freedom in Nigeria now. Our friends and neighbours in the non-Arewa north, Yoruba land, the Ijaw and the rest of South-South, do sympathize with our predicament. They too are victims of thosewho believe that Nigeria is their estate.“That is a major reason you should not attack strangers, no matter where they come from and never forget that the innocent commoners, even a Hausa Fulaniwho lives in your land, has no hand in bringing the Nigerian Army to occupy Igbo land, therefore it wouldn’t be wise to attackthem. We believe in justice and don’t harm those that did nothing to us.“Because in the ADF we believe in order and the law, that is why we have filed a suitat the Federal High Court to challenge this development. We don’t subscribe to or encourage violence or injustice against anybody,” the statement signed by Prof. Uzodinma Nwala, Dr. Dozie Ikedife and Prof. Nath Aniekwu made

My neighbour was sick and invited a native doctor. I warned and pleaded with him, begged him to see a medical doctor, but he refused. (I leave am nah). Not too long the native doctor came and they went inside his house, after the native doctor finished doing his incantations, he told my neighbor that the sickness is incurable but can be transferred to another person and my neighbour greedily agreed. The native doctor then told my neighbour that the first person that will enter his house, he should shout "taarh!!!!!" and the sickness will transfer to the person and the person will die, except if the person reply with retaarh to backfire. My neighbour agreed and the native doctor left in a hurry forgetting to collect his money for the service he had offered. My neighbour sat down in his parlour and kept his door opened waiting for the first victim that will pass through that door. The native doctor then remembered that he forgot to collect his money and decided to go back and collect it. Immediately the native doctor entered, my neighbour shouted "taarh!!!!!" and the native doctor shouted "retaarh!!!!!" and my neighbour shouted again “reretaaarh!!!!!" the native doctor replied “rereretaaaarh!!!!!!". Who will stop or die for Who?? This noise started since yesterday morning and up till now they are both shouting “rerererererererererererererererereretaaaaaaaaarrrhhhh!!!!!!".
A lot of girls complain that guys walk away from them simply because they refused giving them sex, some have even turned into a sex toy just to keep their man! Let me be very blunt here........ Sex might not be the reason this guys walk away! Remove sex from a relationship and most girls don't have anything else to offer their man!! No extra oil at all! And the EXTRA OIL here is character! Most girls do not have extra oil to sustain any relationship while many brag about self worth and some useless virginity they threw to the dogs even before they start developing breasts! Aside sex ,what do you have to offer to a man? Can you support him spiritually? Can you support him physically? How about mentally? All you do is demand money for bags, shoes, clothes and outings! Making him spend unnecessarily! What are yhu even bringing to the table?? Have you ever sat him down, and helped him plan about his future? Has he ever seen you as someone he can confide in? how many times has he come being in a state of dilemma seeking advice from you? Or yhu think he is some semi god who doesn't have any problem at all?? Try to be a woman that a man will always regret losing for the rest of his life... Be that woman that your man can never afford to lose to another man! Build your man to your taste... And stop looking for a ready made husband when yhu not a ready made wife! #Happy weekend beautiful people
What is Acne? Acne is a common skin condition starting after puberty, and which may persist for many years. It involves plugged pores (blackheads and whiteheads), pimples and deeper nodules on the face, neck, trunk and even the upper arms. It arises from pilosebaceous glands (relating to hair follicles and associated SEBACEOUS GLANDS). SEBUM production is increased and bacterial proliferation causes inflammation with PAPULE and PUSTULE formation. Plugs of sebum and epidermal cells form blackheads (comedones); the colour is not due to dirt but to dried oil and shed skin cells in the hairfollicle openings. Treatment Twice-daily washing with a salicylic-acid cleanser can help remove the poreblocking debris, as can daily shampooing. Use only oil-free cosmetics and hide blackheads with a flesh-tinted acne lotion containing benzoyl peroxide, acid or sulphur. Never squeeze blackheads, however tempting; ask a skin specialist how to do this properly. Other treatments include microdermabrasion, and the antibiotic lotions erythromycin and clindamycin may be effective. Tretinoin and adapilene can be used on the skin but are not permitted in pregnancy and may cause problems such as hypersensitivity to sunlight, so medical advice is essential. In resistant cases, long-term suppressive oral therapy with one of the TETRACYCLINES or with ERYTHROMYCIN may be necessary. In females a combined oestrogenantiandrogen 'pill' is an alternative. Severe resistant acne can be cleared by a 16- to 24- week course of oral isotretinoin, but this drug is teratogenic (see TERATOGENESIS) and can cause many side-effects including depression, so its use requires specialist supervision.
