Part 5)* --------------------------------------------------- Good morning friends! Happy Sunday to you all. We shall be looking deeper into the truth that you are free from every punishment from God. Today's message reveals another reason why God doesn't punish you because of your faults, sins and imperfections. It is true, that the word "FAITH" Is the opposite of the word "FEAR". However, when it comes to intimate relationship with a person, the opposite of "FEAR" is "LOVE". "There is no fear in love but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment.." (1st John 4:18 - NKJV) Your Father is a person, and in this dispensation, you have the right to be not just His friend, but HIS INTIMATE FRIEND. But: "Can you have deep relationship with someone you are afraid of?". Certainly NOT. Your view about God determines how you relate with Him. If you think God punishes every fault, sins and mistakes, this will instill perpetual fear in your heart, you will not enjoy your relationship with Him and God has not given us a spirit of fear but a spirit of love! (2nd Timothy 1:7). So don't say.."If I do this, God may punish me...". It's fear of making mistakes and this fear will weaken you spiritually and steal your joy! Is this the kind of christian life God has called you into? Let the Holy Spirit fill your heart with God's love as you mediate deeply on the truth that God loves you UNCONDITIONALLY and if He rejects and punishes you because of sins, faults and imperfections, who else will deal help you in that situation?
