Description
Study programme Vitallity & Tourism Management Allowing people to experience the ultimate in tourism or wellness, that’s the Vitality Management & Tourism course at the HZ. And where would be a better place to do so than on the coast of Zeeland? You will soon be a true wellness and tourism expert.
People are now finding it increasingly more important to live a healthy life, to spend their free time in a meaningful way and to enhance their quality of life. You will learn to optimally respond to these requirements. You will create products for the tourism market and will know everything there is to know about both wellness and tourism. Once you get to work, you’ll represent the link between the company and the guest. You will manage business processes from your knowledge of wellness concepts and tourist packages, with the main focus always being on creating quality for the guest. You have the option of completing the course either in Dutch or in English.
In addition to a welcoming attitude, you will be interested in learning other languages, you are creative and have a talent for organising. Would you like to launch your career in the world of tourism and wellness? The Vitality Management & Tourism course will train you to become a creative and enterprising all-round professional!

Hello! Tomorrow we have our Open Day with presentations about the study programme at 11.00 hours (Dutch), 12.30 hours (English) and 13.30 hours (Dutch) in class room PE 203. Our alumni Lise Temmink and Sharon Thiry will tell you all about their experiences during their studies and their current jobs! Do not forget to have a look in our 'student's room' at the PE hallway as well. You will have the opportunity to take a look in the books we use, see more videos about the programme in Dutch and to have a cup of tea with one of our current students! Our first year students Ramses Oranje, Lyubov Aleksieva and Miriam Günter helped us organizing the room and tested it briefly as you can see at the photos! Hope to see you tomorrow!!

Our first year students are enjoying a field trip to Domburg as part of their Hospitality project week. Busy schedule they have! We started with a presention about the vision towards (Wellness and Health) tourism of Domburg given by the mayor of the municipality of Veere himself! Followed by a presention about the procedure of obtaining the Bath status for Domburg, by Tatiana Booi of Economisch Impuls Zeeland. After this we have had two company visits. Badhotel Domburg and Rituals Domburg. At both places we received an outstanding business presentation and we given a guided tour. The spare time that was, is used to explore the hospitality of Domburg. That's just one day of living the live as a first year student of Vitality & Tourism Management!
