Tuesday 16 May students enrolled in the course Communication Research of both study programs European Studies and Oriental Languages and Communication went on a field trip. Part of their course is to work on a research question from the city of Genk about tourism. To give the students a true feel on tourist attractions in Genk, a field trip was organized. First Tanith van Dammen from the city of Genk provided a Kick-Off in the auditorium of the Luca School of Arts located at the C-mine complex. Afterwards the students visited two of the main attractions of Genk: C-mine expedition and Bokrijk. It was a very successful trip and we wish all students a lot of success with their research project.
