Sunflower Montessori is Luxembourg's leading Montessori Crèche founded in 2001. Sunflower has built a solid reputation of providing the very best care and pre-school education available. Sunflower is committed to the principles of Maria Montessori and to providing a safe, secure and happy environment for children from 3 months to 4 years. We offer an after school service with bus pick up and a Saturday school where we teach reading and writing to children from 4 years.
The team is lead by Helen Clarke and Sam O'Dea. Friends for many years, they both studied at St. Nicholas Montessori College in London and went on to teach at Rainbow Montessori school in London. Helen and Sam are both mothers themselves and have also faced the challenges of balancing work-life and bringing up young children.    
Our international team of staff are externally or internally Montessori trained. We hold annual weekend workshops headed by Michaela Yagoub from Montessori Centre International in London. Our own internal Montessori trainer Naomi Misiuk spends time in all the classrooms training the staff and ensuring a high standard of Montessori materials and activities.  
Each Sunflower Crèche is regularly visited by Helen and Sam and is also hosted by a manager. Ellen Okkerman our senior manager visits all the locations and is constantly training and supporting the managers.
