Festival Terres Rouges
Feat. ALOE BLACC, MILOW, CRYSTAL FIGHTERS…& many more

The Terres Rouges Culture Festival in Esch-sur-Alzette, is a major cultural gathering in Luxembourg. Each staging reserves a major portion for street arts (free entry) on Friday and Saturday in the centre of Esch-sur-Alzette and traditionally closes with an open-air concert on Sunday at the ice-skating rink in Gaalgebierg Park, a stone's throw from the town centre.

The first three bands have been announced, more will follow.

ALOE BLACC
When I Need a Dollar hits the waves in 2010, western listeners, hit hard by the economic downturn, are given a welcomed musical kick. A pleasant sort of kick that gets you back on your feet. This hit, taken from the album Good Things has rocketed the young singer-songwriter to planetary stardom, far beyond the Californian music scene of his origins.  In 2014, Aloe Blacc released his third album Lift your spirit. The critics are enraptured, as are his fans, who hurry out to get their hands on it. The second track The Man rapidly reached Top 10 of the US Billboard Charts. Will it be the smash hit of 2014? MILOW
His talent needs no introduction or a substantial repertoire as justification. Milow has already proved himself during a live improvisation, concocted in the studios of a Belgian radio station. In 2008, the young singer and musician tests the water with the hit by the American rapper 50 Cent, called Ayo Technology. In 2014 Milow, guitar in hand, goes back to his roots with ten melancholic songs. “ Silver Linings brings back many painful memories but ends with catharsis,” he states. His concerts have an underlying sorrow on which he builds a world, full of wonder, but still firmly rooted in reality, which is at the origin of the warmth he generates and transmits to his audience. It is a world well worth discovering.

CRYSTAL FIGHTERS
The Spanish in England. Nothing but cosmopolitan music could result from such a combination.  You would be hard-pushed to be able to put a label on the sort of music the Crystal Fighters produce. Their unique sound is a mix of electro, pop, traditional music and a hint of many styles and music scenes. Crystal Fighters find their core inspiration in traditional Basque-country music from the 18th century, they combine it with music from the 21st century to make a flavoursome, exciting mixture, which should be consumed without moderation live.
