It was the perfect weather condition for marathon. We think that many people of sponsors, trading company, Y’s mens club, and participants of YMCA programs enjoyed the event. A Blue Impulse team in the disguise of the airplane charged up during family performance. ＜The 20th Kobe YMCA International Charity Run＞ ◆Date：November 3rd (FRI) ◆Venue：Village of Happiness Kobe ◆Number of Participants： Number of teams : 109 ( Primary school children relay:34, Group run: 75 ) Number of runners : 584 (Primary school children relay:136, Group run: 352 1/10 marathon: 46, 1/100 marathon: 40 ) Volunteers: About 180 Staffs: 57 Others: About 200 Total: About: 1020 We could finish The 20th Kobe YMCA International Charity Run with smile in splendid fine weather. With a catch copy as "When you run, children becoming happy increase." runner were able to share time of happy and smiling. Each person participated in each race of primary school children relay, 1/10 marathon, group run and 1/100 marathon item in accord with each participant. They sent much power and a support, powerful run and courage. We were able to present medals, prizes and premiums to many people in a commendation ceremony and raffle lottery by support of many sponsors and support organizations. And we could see many smiling faces at these ceremonies. We Kobe YMCA will unite and advance to send smile and courage sharing with many people next year too. ＜The 24th Nagoya YMCA International Charity Run＞ ◆Date：November 4 (SAT) ◆Venue：Meijyo Park ◆Number of Participants： Number of teams: 70 Number of team runners: 420 Number of individual runners: 68 Volunteers: 100 Staffs: 57 Others: About 400 Total: About: 1000 The 24th Nagoya YMCA International Charity Run was held in warm sunlight and 500 person participated in the event as runners of team race or individual race. Members of company or organization that were participated in team race enjoyed The 24th Nagoya YMCA International Charity Run in 2017 while opening cloth, tent with logo mark of each company or blue sheet and developing support in their own ways. The persons who had usually lack of exercise did their best and finished running one lap of course in the park were sweating comfortably. In individual run the youngest runner was a young kindergartener. A child was sobbing after goal as he ran very hard. We could see a lot of figures of running their best toward goal About 1000 people including runners gathered in Meijyo Park and we were able to spend satisfying day. ＜第24回　名古屋ＹＭＣＡインターナショナル・チャリティーラン＞ ◆開催日：2017年11月4日（土） ◆会　場：名城公園 ◆参加者数 　チーム数：70チーム 　ランナー数：420名 　個人種目ランナー：68名 　ボランティア数：100名 　その他来場者数：400名 　合計：988名 暖かい日差しの中での開催となり、チームレース・個人レース合わせて500名の方がランナーとして参加しました。 チームレースに参加している団体は、各企業のロゴやテント・ブルーシートを広げ、思い思いの応援を繰り広げながらチャリティーラン2017を楽しみました。 日頃運動不足の方もがんばって公園内の１周コースを走りぬき、気持ちの良い汗をかいていました。 また個人レースでは、最年少が年少児でした。 中には頑張って走り過ぎて、ゴール後に大泣きしている子どももいました。 それぞれの目標に向かってがんばる姿がたくさんみられました。ランナーを含め約1000人の方が名城公園に集い、充実した１日を過ごすことができました。

＜The 18th Saitama YMCA International Charity Run＞ ◆Date：November 3rd (FRI) ◆Venue：Tokorozawa Aviation Memorial Park ◆Number of Participants： Number of teams: 26 Number of team runners: 180(Including escort runners) Number of individual runners: 48 Volunteers: 70 Others: 100 Total: About 398 After discussion of committee meeting we decided to add new individual races( 6 laps running, 3 laps walking) from The 18th Saitama YMCA International Charity Run in order to have wider circle of participants toward 20th anniversary. As a result, there was the application of 48 people and people more than last year participated in the event and we were able to get much support funding. In comfortable weather on that day, we are pleased to report that the event was held with big smile. ＜第18回　埼玉ＹＭＣＡインターナショナル・チャリティーラン＞ ◆開催日：2017年11月3日（祝・金） ◆会　場：航空記念公園 ◆参加者数 　チーム数：26チーム 　ランナー180名（伴走含む） 　個人種目ランナー：48名 　ボランティア数：70名 　その他来場者数：100名 　合計：398名 第18回目となる埼玉YMCAインターナショナル・チャリティーランは、実行委員会の話し合いで、新たに多くの方々を巻き込み、第20回大会に向けてよりその輪を広げていきたいとの事から、個人種目（6周ラン・3周ウォーキング）を設定しました。 結果、48名のエントリーがあり、昨年よりも多くの参加者、支援金をお預かりする事ができました。 当日は気持ちの良い天候の中、多くの笑顔があふれる大会となりました事を、喜びをもって報告させていただきます。

<The 4th Ibaraki YMCA International Charity Run> ◆Date：October 28 , 2017(SAT) ◆Venue：Doho Park ◆Number of Participants： Number of Teams: 42 Number of Runners: About 169 Staffs / Volunteers: About 60 Others: About 420 Total: About 650 Number of participants of Ibaraki Ibaraki YMCA International Charity Run is increasing year by year. Although we started while it rained as weather forecast reported, after we just finished opening ceremony, cloud cleared and the sun appeared as if It cheered runners. The whole mood of the event became warm by laughter was caused by disguise of children with the spirit. During race we could see figures of 3 to 4 years child run anole and primary school children with uneasiness run to the last. After we finished all races, all of participants and supporters could have lunch of carry happily. We held awards ceremony and raffle lottery. We were able to enjoy the event with participants to the end. About hundreds of gifts were donated according to cooperation of many supporters. Many participants said, “ I am very happy to attend. I want to participate in the event next year again” and we entirely thank for supports of many concerned people so that we could hold the event peacefully ＜第4回茨城ＹＭＣＡインターナショナル・チャリティーラン＞ ◆開催日：2017年10月28日（土） ◆会　場：洞峰公園 ◆参加者数： チーム数：42チーム ランナー数：169名 スタッフ・ボランティア数：60名 その他：約420名 合　計：650名 年々、参加者、協賛者が増えている茨城ＹＭＣＡのチャリティーラン。今年度は、心配されていた雨予報の天気の中での開催でしたが、開会直後、雲が晴れ、ランナーたちを応援するかのように太陽が顔を出しました。例年、子どもたちの気合の入った仮装には笑いが起き、大会のムード全体が温かいものになりました。 競技中では3～4歳の幼児が初めて一人で走ったり、 不安を抱えながらも最後まで走りきった小学生たちの様子が見られました。競技が終了すると、参加者・付き添いの方みんなでカレーを食べ、楽しい昼食をとることができました。 午後には表彰式・ラッフル抽選会を行いました。 多くの協力団体様のお力で約100本もの景品が集まり、 最後まで参加者と共にイベントを楽しむことができました。 今日参加してよかった、また来年も参加したいとのお言葉を多く頂き、無事に開催出来ましたことは偏にご協力をくださいました多くの皆様のおかげと感謝しております。

<The 20th Chiba YMCA International Charity Run> ◆Date：October 21 , 2017(SAT) ◆Venue：Funabashi City Sports Park ◆Number of Participants： Number of teams : 22 Number of runners : About 127 Volunteers: About 108 Others: About 170 Total: About 405 While weak rain fell from starting of preparations under influence of an autumnal rain front and a typhoon, we started opening ceremony by changing place to stand bench. The 20th charity run was overlapped with 80th anniversary of the municipal system of Funabashi City, and congratulation telegram from Mayor Funabashi was announced. In this event people with spirit gathered saying "We run even if it should rain! " and streaks of pouring rain became slight to 11:00, and we were able to continue the event to the last. Dance performance of person with difficulties by collaboration with live play of wind instrument band that we planned to carry out for the time to raffle lottery start was performed in changed place to narrow space of stand due to rain. Audiences warmly watched dance played in front of them, and we could watch the scene that person without any difficulty and with difficulties enjoyed the event together. A boy who ran 400m x 2 rounds while crying acted as the first runner of relay road race team this year, and he tied the plow with red-hot face. Connection with people of team which we made by every year's enforcement for 20 years And aspect of children’s growing up in this situation is exactly our new slogan “ Encounter, Connect, and Transforming” ＜20回千葉YMCAインターナショナル・チャリティーラン＞ ◆開催日：2017年10月21日（土） ◆会　場：船橋市運動公園 ◆参加者数： チーム数：　22チーム ランナー数　約127名 ボランティア数：108名 その他：約170名 合計：約405名 秋雨前線と台風の影響を受けて、準備の段階から弱い雨の降る中でしたが、 大会は、開会式会場をスタンドベンチに変更し、雨をしのぎながらの開始となりました。 第２０回大会は、船橋市市制８０周年と重なり、船橋市長からの祝電も披露されました。 大会には「雨でも走るぞ！」という気合いの入った方々が集まり、１１時には雨脚も弱くなり、最後まで続けることができました。 抽選会開始までの時間に実施予定をしていた、吹奏楽の生バンドとのコラボによる障がい者チームのダンスパフォーマンスは、場所を変更してスタンドの狭いところでダンスを披露することになりました。　観客の皆さんも目の前で行われるダンスを温かく見守ってくださり、「障がいのある方も、そうでない方も楽しむ大会」の一場面を見たようでした。 また、過去にはトラック４００㍍×２を泣いて走っていた少年が、今年は駅伝チームの第一走者を 務め、真っ赤になってたすきをつなぎました。２０年の毎年の実施でできたチームの方々とのつながりとその中で成長していく子どもの様子は、まさに「みつかる、つながる、よくなっていく」でした。

The 23rd Osaka YMCA International Charity Run ◆Date：October 15 , 2017(SUN) ◆Venue：Flower Expo memorial park Tsurumi ryokuchi special course ◆Number of Participants： Number of teams : Relay 39, Family run 30 Number of runners : 390 Volunteers: 200 Others: About 150 Total: 740 Although weather was worried about, but there was little rainy influence at the time of opening ceremony and participants were running fast during 10km race, and cord relay. The costume runners were swelled same as average year. We carried it out in little raining, but it soon began to rain very hard from the latter half. Many people were attending closing ceremony to the last in spite of heavy rain. We offer our sincere thanks for everyone's support and participation. ＜第23回　大阪ＹＭＣＡインターナショナル・チャリティーラン＞ ◆開催日：2017年10月15日（日） ◆会　場：花博記念公園鶴見緑地　特設コース ◆参加者数： チーム数：駅伝39チーム、ファミリーラン30チーム ランナー数：390名 ボランティア数：200名 その他：150名 合計：740名 ◎当日の様子 心配されていた天候ですが、開会式・10㎞ラン・たすきリレーでは、雨の影響も少なくランナーは快走されていました。 コスチュームも例年どおり盛り上がりました。 少雨のなかで決行しましたが後半からは本降りになり、閉会式では、土砂降りの雨にも関わらず多くの方々が、最後まで見守ってくださいました。 皆さまのご支援・ご参加に心より感謝申し上げます。

Unfortunately it rained slightly at the time of preparation and opening ceremony but the rain stopped at the beginning of race and children of the nursery school ran livery relay race that we began from this year. Wheelchair team participated in the event this year also, and their participation became indispensable to charity run same as "the cheer dance" of the opening ceremony. We would like to report with thanks that we could hold the event safely supported by everyone's smiles. As it was the first Charity Run after YMCA renewed logo mark on October 1st, we distributed T-shirt with new logo mark to all participants and took a ceremonial photograph by everyone. It was a good opportunity to show our new logo to all participants ＜20回横浜YMCAインターナショナル・チャリティーラン＞ ◆開催日：2017年10月14日（土） ◆会　場：横浜みなとみらい臨港パーク ◆参加者数： ランナー数：540名 ・Aコース（1,100ｍ／1人）23チーム ・Bコース（800ｍ／1人）52チーム ・Cコース（300ｍ／1人）33チーム スタッフ数：61名 ボランティア数：132名 その他：約550名 合計：約1240名 第20回横浜ＹＭＣＡインターナショナル・チャリティーランが、横浜みなとみらい臨港パークで開催されました。あいにくの天気で準備・開会式は若干雨が残っていましたが、レースが始まる頃にはやみ、保育園の子どもたちは今年から始めたリレー形式のランを元気よく走りました。 今年も車いすのチームに参加していただき、オープニングセレモニーの「チアダンス」とともにチャリティーランでは欠かせないものとなりました。 参加された皆さまの笑顔に支えられ、無事に開催することが出来ましたことを感謝とともにご報告致します。 10月1日にYMCAのロゴが新しくなり初めてのチャリティーランでしたので、参加された皆さまに新ロゴTシャツ配布や、全員での記念撮影など、新しいロゴを広く知っていただく良い機会となりました。

１０月４日チャレンジ・チルドレンを応援する「可能性を引き出そう!」のイベントを開催しました。１２０人余の参加者の皆さん、たくさんのご協賛に心より感謝申し上げます。特別ゲストの有森裕子さん、マクドナルド山本恵理さん、式町水晶さんは、企画の段階から「一人一人の子供の個性や強みを活かすことで夢を実現していく」というテーマに共感いただき、その意味をより深く掘り下げた素晴らしい内容にしていただきました。「障がいがあるからこのレベルまでできれば」と周囲が決めるのではなく「世間の常識や世間体を打ち破る勇気」を持ち、「子供のやりたいと思うことをしっかり寄り添い応援してあげる」…明快で鋭くまた愛情溢れるトークセッションでした。また当日公開したビデオの最後にもご家族に向けたメッセージが込められています。https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yGnj3q_LXZU&feature=youtu.be 大いに盛り上がった会の最後、会場中が静まり返りました。式町水晶さんの心に深く突き刺さるような音色は「可能性を引き出そう！」というメッセージそのものでした。感動の夜に心から感謝です♡　 The event under the theme, Unleash Your Potential, was held on Oct 4th with 120 participants and many corporate sponsors to support Challenged Children. Our special guests, Olympic medalist Yuko Arimori, Paralympic athlete Eri Yamamoto-MacDonald and Violinist Mizuki Shikimachi all embraced the theme, with the focus on individuality and strength of each child to pursue their dreams. They helped to make the event highly engaging with clear messages. The 23rid Sendai YMCA International Charity Run ◆Date：September 23st , 2017(SAT) ◆Venue：Iwate Prefectural College track-and-field ◆Number of Participants： Number of teams : relay race - 39, Family run - 30 Number of runners : 390 Volunteers, Staffs: 200 Others: 150 Total: 740 It drizzled from last night to an early morning, but rain stopped when we Start preparation. The first runners of long‐distance relay race l started all at once together by the signal of the pistol by event chairman Mr. Sato Muneyuki. Wide generation from kinder garten children to 60’s runners and people with difficulties were running as fast as they could hand over sash and teamwork to the next runner. This time we could see scene that many people cheered or run together with runner in the field. Especially t was impressive that nursery or kindergarten children were running together with their friends in the field. In family run race each team member showed elaborated costume and performance this year. All runners of long‐distance relay race and family run completed running and finished the event. After lunch time blind Soccer trial experience for people with visual difficulty By members of “ Coruja Sendai Blind football Club ” , 1/1000 full marathon, And playing field for children corner were held, and we rote massages to deepen understanding about Charity run at the Reader corner. We could finish the 23rd international charity run with two events that became the first action this time without severe injury exiting with all the participants. ＜第23回仙台ＹＭＣＡインターナショナル・チャリティーラン＞ 開催日：2017年9月23日（祝・土） 会　場：東北学院大学　泉キャンパス　 ◎参加者数： チーム数：駅伝39チーム、ファミリーラン30チーム ランナー数：390名 ボランティア数：200名 その他：150名 合計：740名 前日から早朝まで小雨が降っておりましたが、 会場の準備開始時間には雨が上がり、曇りの中、運営ボランティアが 会場設営を行いました。 駅伝の部は、39チームの第一走者が仙台ＹＭＣＡチャリティーランの大会会長であるさとう宗幸さんのピストルの合図で一斉に勢いよくスタートしました。 ランナーは、保育園児・幼稚園児から60代まで幅広く、障がいのあるランナーも一緒に懸命に走り、次のランナーへたすきとチームワークをつないでいました。 今回は、ランナーに対して声援や競技場内を一緒に走る姿が多く見られました。特に保育園・幼稚園チームは、競技場内の仲間と一緒に走る姿が印象的でした。 ファミリーランでは、今年もチームそれぞれが趣向を凝らしたコスチュームや パフォーマンスを見せていました。今大会も駅伝の部、ファミリーランの部ともにすべてのランナーが完走し、競技を終えました。 昼食後は、「コルジャ仙台ブラインドサッカークラブ」の皆さんによる、 視覚障害者によるサッカー体験会や、1000分の1フルマラソン、 キッズコーナーでの遊び場、リーダーコーナーにてチャリティーランのことについて理解を深めるための寄せ書きを行いました。 今回初の取り組みとなった2つのイベントとともに参加者全員で盛り上がった第23回目のインターナショナル・チャリティーランとなりました。そして、大きな怪我もなく終えることができました。

The 1st Morioka YMCA International Charity Run ◆Date：September 23st , 2017(SAT) ◆Venue：Iwate Prefectural College track-and-field ◆Number of Participants： Number of teams : 29 Number of runners : 128 Volunteers, Staffs: 108 Others: 75 Total: 306 We could finish The first Morioka YMCA International Charity Run targeting to put into practice society that people with difficulty and without difficulty can live happily together by having thoughtfulness and respect each other supported by various organizations and companies. At the venue people with difficulty, people without difficulty, children, college students and old people gathered and we felt that all people could communicate each other while sharing the same space. Because it was the first time holding, a lot of problems were found, but We think that it might be good opportunity to think about the society which we are aiming at. We could hold very impressive The first Morioka YMCA Charity Run with impressive fine and warm smile of every one who supported the Charity run. ＜第1回盛岡ＹＭＣＡインターナショナル・チャリティーラン＞ 開催日：2017年9月23日（祝・土） 会　場： 参加者数： チーム数：29チーム ランナー数：128名 ボランティア数：103名 その他：75名 合計：306名 障がいのある人も、障がいのない人も、互いが互いを思いやり、尊重し、共に幸せに生きていける、違いを超えてつながる社会の実現を目指し、様々な人たちや団体、企業様にたくさん支えられ、第1回盛岡ＹＭＣＡチャリティーランを開催することができました。 会場には障がいのある人も、障がいのない人も、子どもも大学生もold も,様々な人たちが集い、同じ空間を共有しながらつながることができたと感じております。 第1回目ということもあり多々課題も見つかりましたが、私たちが目指す社会について考えるきっかけに少しでもなれたのではないかと思います。チャリティーランを支えてくださった全ての人たちの素敵な笑顔や暖かい笑顔がとっても印象的な第1回目の盛岡YＭＣＡチャリティーランとなりました.
