Giovedi scorso il team Decortex ha avuto il piacere di presentare la nuova collezione ad un gruppo di clienti Canadesi in visita durante il loro Kravet Canada - Florence Educational Tour. Un tour esclusivo guidato da Brian Donovan (Direttore Kravet Canada) e organizzato da Gary Searle (Vice Presidente Lee Jofa e Brunschwig & Fils vendite e merchandising). Nella loro ricerca di un “insider’s view" del design Italo-Fiorentino, il focus dell'incontro riguardava tessuti lussuosi, il design e l’artigianato, il tutto in relazione alla città di Firenze ed al suo patrimonio artistico. La presentazione è avvenuta presso la terrazza della nota Villa La Vedetta, con la sua vista mozzafiato su Firenze. Per l'occasione Decortex ha presentato mobili esclusivi, l’anteprima di una creativa collaborazione con l’azienda SOFTHOUSE, leader toscano nel settore d’arredamento. I due fondatori, Laura e Mariella Torri hanno dato grande vita e vivacità alla nuova linea di tessuti Decortex sia grazie alle loro competenze artigianali che all’unicità dei loro divani. Molto presto, aggiornamenti derivanti dalla collaborazione tra le due società, quindi tra il tessuto ed il prodotto finito! Textile Buffet with a view! Last Thursday the Decortex team had the pleasure to present the latest collection to a group of Canadian customers, in visit on their inspiring KRAVET Canada - Florence Educational Tour. An exclusive tour, led by Brian Donovan (Director of Kravet Canada) and organized by Gary Searle (Vice President sales and merchandising at Lee Jofa and Brunschwig & Fils). On their search of an “insider’s” view of Italian design in Florence, the focus of the encounter was on designed luxury fabrics and the craftsmanship in relation to Florence and the artistic legacy of the town. The presentation took place at the terrace of the beautiful Villa La Vedetta, with it’s breathtaking view on the the town of Florence. For the occasion Decortex showcased two exclusive pieces of furniture, as a preview of an inspirational collaboration with the Tuscan master carpentry SOFTHOUSE company. The two founders, Laura and Mariella Torri have given great life and vivacity to the new Decortex line of fabrics, using their expertise artisanal skills and stunning sofa models. More to come soon on this synergy between the two companies and the tactile fabrics meeting the materia of a finished product and the finest furniture!
