Manx Chainsaw Carvings
Description
Chainsaw carved bears, animals, mushrooms and other sculptures. Stock items constantly changing. Commission enquiries welcome. Stylised bears and other animals carved by chainsaw and power tools. Produced locally from dead wood and recycled timber. No trees are felled to make these sculptures.
We can make items to order such as themed bears; e.g. golfing, footballer and fishing bears or woodland creatures in different designs and sizes. No two items are the same - a unique gift idea!

CARVING CHARITY AUCTION! Over the past year I have produced some butterfly carvings for the Organ Donor Memorial Garden at Nobles and tomorrow is the 1st anniversary of the garden being opened. The butterfly represents organ donation as a symbol of change and is also well established as representing new life and hope. The beautiful garden is due to the tireless work of a local charity, Organ Donation Isle of Man - The Gift of Life (on FB), founded by Diane Taylor. Organ Donation Week starts tomorrow I would like to help raise awareness of the need to sign the donor register by auctioning the butterfly memorial below. It has been carved from a fallen St John’s oak and is about 20” long by 12” tall and 2” thick. Please comment with your bid and the highest bid by 8pm on Thursday 8th September wins. Free delivery.
