Saturday 7th at 7pm Welcome the Visit of the 45strong Oriel Trad Orchestra from Counties Armagh, Louth, Meath and Monaghan to create a regional cross-border orchestra to perform arrangements of Irish Traditional Music. They will be joined on the evening by Youghal’s very own Ceolta Si . Witness over 80 musicians in unison. Free Concert Full at 200 seats. Sunday 11pm. One for the Road session. Slán.

Youghal on Red Alert for Pop Up Trad Music Festival. Thursday 5th to Sunday 8th April Over 90 visiting musicians will descend on Youghal over the Easter Holidays. The visitors will be representing Counties Louth, Meath, Armagh , Down. Clare, Cork City and West Waterford. Youghal Comhaltas will try to match the Visitors numbers and it is hoped that the musical interchange will witness over 180 musicians all playing in unison. The 3 day Festival event will include shared workshops shared tunes recitals concerts fun and games dining out tourism Historical tours Pop Up Gaeltacht, and much more the highlight of the weekend will be the Shared Orchestra Experience. FLEADH CHEOIL NA hÉIREANN DROGHEDA 2018 The Chairperson of the Fleadh executive has paved the way for a major announcement in the coming weeks regarding the acts set to perform as part of the Fleadh Cheoil Na hÉireann 2018”. Fingers crossed that Ceolta Si will make the cut. 400,000+ visitors are expected to visit the Fleadh during the week-long festival in August, with 30% of these predicted to travel from overseas.
