A nonprofit community organisation open to all men aged 18 years and over. We're open every Wednesday from 10.30 to 12.30 so why not pop in for a look! Youghal Men's Shed Peer Project in conjunction with Foroige is a nonprofit community organisation open to all men agaed 18 years and over. We are equipped with a pool table, table tennis, gym, and poly tunnel and some games consoles or if you want, you can have a chat and a cup of tea/coffee

Community and giving back to our community is very important to us in the Peer Project. Our first Buddy Bench, given to our local school: if any child needs a friend to play with, they sit on the bench and other children will come and play with them. Well done to Bunscoil Mhuire Youghal for taking this on board :)

They say the kitchen is the heart of every home. In our kitchen we certainly believe that. It is where we sit, chat, laugh, delegate and plan. Hold music sessions and sing songs and since we now have an oven and hob the cooking lessons have began and are going down a treat :)

Life gets busy, that's a fact!! and I have been so busy with college and work that I had forgotten how much I absolutely love being apart of and belonging to this project. The sense of calmness it brings me, the wonderful energy it holds and the energy of those who come here is magical :) god it's soooo good to be home!!! and yes I have an addiction to butterflies ;) Fiona
