Killinick Hunt Club, Hunt Canter 2017! The Killinick Hunt Club are running a hunt canter suitable for all ages on Sunday 8th October in Ballycogley to raise money for the hall. All jumps are optional! The first horses are out at 9.30am and last at 1pm. It's €25 for adults and €15 for children. It's also suitable for any walkers that would like to do it for €5. It's approx 10km. There will be tea, sandwiches and burgers afterwards

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Carlow Pony Club ODE due to take place tomorrow, Sunday 24th September, has been postphoned due to ground conditions. The club hope to reschedule and run the event on Sunday 1st October, confirmation of this will be known later in the week. ☔️

Well done to those from the club who competed at the IPC Red Mills Eventing Championships in Tattersalls at the weekend. A lot of hard work goes into the Eventing over the course of the year in preparation for this weekend and we'd like to thank all those for putting in that work! Unfortunately we were just outside the colours but all went home happy! You have done us proud! 🐴 If you have any pictures from the weekend feel free to send them on so they can be put on the page. (We also had a ride out in Rosegarland on Sunday and photos will be put up tomorrow!)

What a weekend it has been at the IPC Festival in Mullingar! The club were very well represented and are coming home with 3 wins and quite a few rosettes! A big thank you to the Irish Pony Club for such a well run weekend, and of course to all the parents , grandparents and supporters! Friday: U10 CT - Oscar O'Connor 4th U12 CT - Taylor Peare 2nd, Isabelle Barry 6th Saturday: Pure Dressage Team - Killinick Team (Naoise Ward, Seren Ward, Oscar O'Connor & Taylor Peare) 5th Pure Dressage Ride off - Taylor 8th, Naoise 9th Inter CT - Anna-Mai Stafford 4th, Frank Ronan 6th Open CT - Andrea Dempsey 3rd U12 SJ Team - Killinick Pink (Taylor Peare, Isabelle Barry, Edie Codd & Faye Murphy) 6th & 2nd in Horsemanship U12 SJ ind. - Faye Murphy 2nd Sunday: Our John Ledingham team consisting of Frank Ronan, Alannah Lacey, Aoife Pettit & James Mernagh (Chef d'Equipe: Scott Mernagh) had a great win after a close jump-off and also won the Horsemanship. Andrea Dempsey won her class in the Open SJ with a super clear round! Well done to all who competed! 🐎
