Montessori School At "The Children's Learning Garden" we make every effort to provide the stimulation and security that your young child needs. We offer an attractive child-sized environment in which your child has the freedom to explore in a safe, prepared environment.

We have a fully-equipped Montessori classroom where our programme includes exercises in practical life, sensorial development, early number work, early reading and writing skills, art and crafts, early geography, music and much more.
But most importantly for the children themselves, its a FUN place to be.

We also have a large childfriendly outdoor playarea which is full-equipped with climbing frame, swings, slides, see-saw, bouncers, basketball etc.
The school is fully registered with the health board and the AMI (Association Montessori International) and is fully compliant with all the planning and fire regulations. It is fully insured and has fully qualified experienced and friendly staff. Our flexible timetable accommodates the needs of the children and adults. The school is open Monday to Friday, offering morning Montessori classes from 9am to 12 pm each day and afternoon Montessori classes from 12.30 to 3.30pm each day with early drop-off options or late pickup.

The children have been learning about 'road safety' for the past few weeks. They had a visit from the lollipop man and have been learning the rules of the road for a while. The children are starting the second charity walk for barnardos. So what better time to learn how to safely cross the road. Have a lovely safe weekend.

We all had a wonderful day up in Kia Ora, all the kids really really enjoyed it. The weather was absolutely fabulous but .. I must remind all the parents that when there is a school tour not to park anywhere near the school, as it makes it very difficult for the bus drivers to drop off the children at the door our main priority is to get the children off the bus into school asap so we can get them ready to go straight home. We here at the children's learning garden hope everyone enjoys the two days off and we will see you all on Monday morning! Pictures from the tour should be up shortly.

School tour tomorrow, to Kia Ora farm. Please do not forget to put sun cream on the children as the weather is meant to be good and the children will be outside all day. Also do not forget to give your child a packed lunch. Pictures will be taking tomorrow morning so please be at the school for 9.15 the latest. Can I please remind everyone who drives "NOT" to park near the school as there will be two buses there tomorrow morning. If you would like to wave off your child please park down in the graveyard car park.
