Could I ask all my fellow Therapists to please follow the FICTA page and keep an eye on it ....FICTA works tirelessly on the behalf of all Complimentary Therapies to ensure the holistic Community will not be regulated out of existence as has happened in many European Countries. If it is at all possible for you as a practitioner to support this organisation please do......ask your association whether say are a member of FICTA and if so request to be kept up to date with what is happening. Please don't sit on your hands about this, the CAM industry is constantly being pushed towards regulations which will lead to the restriction of complimentary therapy practice, even in your field of expertise.........Stay informed,
Im here today attending the AGM of FICTA the Federation of Irish Complementarity Therapy Association. Keeping on top of current developments affecting the CAM sector and working towards retaining the right of people in Ireland to choose their own care routes freely. As well as upgrading understanding of recent changrs on legislation regarding the child protection act and data protection.Always working to keep our standards up to best practice.
