Pictured below are Students from Sancta Maria College, Louisburgh , Rice College, Collaiste Acla and The Sacred Heart School, Westport. They had the privilege of visiting : The Garda Training College in Templemore, The Garda specialised Unit in Westmanstown and The Central Criminal Courts in Dublin recently whilst on work experience . Many thanks to those that made this such an enjoyable and extremely educational experience for all the students involved. A special mention of thanks to 👮 Garda Linus Fahy who accompanied the students on the trips both days. Mile Buiochas .

The SHS Cross Country Athletics team are all set for the All-Ireland Championships which take place on Saturday March 11th in Belfast. Many thanks to the generous sponsorship of Allergan, Port West and Hoban's Centra Fairgreen. It has helped towards travel costs, hoodies for the athletes and a set of athletic singlets for the school. Best of luck to all involved.

Hard luck to the U14 and U19 Badminton teams in the All Ireland Finals today.The U19 team came 3rd.The games were extremely competitive with excellent individual performances from all players. The girls did the school proud. Well done to all involved. U19 Team- Feena McManamon,Ellie Dillane, Fiona Poole and Aoife O'Brien U14 Team- Eleanor Chambers, Lillian Sheedy, Aine Regan and Nollaig O'Halloran.
