The pub is packed with history as Kitty Kieran (Catherine Brigid) was the finance of the Irish freedom fighter Michael Collins who died August 22nd 1922. He married Kitty but after a short while died whilst leaving behind over 300 letters to her.
We here at Kitty's aim to provide a “home from home feel” while having a few beverages sitting beside a roaring fire and listening to good traditional music from local musicians and other parts of Ireland.
