Terrific group from the CTC (Community Training Centre), based in Kilcruttin, Tullamore, who provide Vocational Training opportunities to young people aged 16 - 21 years. Huge congrats to those who successfully completed the NFTE programme!
Tullamore Community Training Centre (CTC) offers Vocational Training Opportunities to young people aged 16-21yrs. Congrats to Patrik Holub, Melinda Higgins, Jason Flanagan, Ciaran Flanagan, PJ Wynne, and Katie Power on completing the NFTE programme, and who received their certificates last Wednesday. Great achievement everyone!!

******2015 EU Youth Report****** • In 2014 nearly one in three 15 to 24 year olds in employment worked part-time in the EU 28 (31.9%). • In Ireland that rate was much higher at 46% • Only 2% of young people in Ireland were willing to become entrepreneurs. • Ireland has one of the lowest rates of young people who are self-employed (1.7%). • Ireland also had the third highest proportion of young people aged 15 to 24 not in employment, education or training (NEET) in 2011, although this had dropped to 8th place (15%) by 2014.
