Local Childcare Facility thats been open in the community for 12 years
Our primary goal is to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where we can help your child to cultivate his/her natural desire to learn about themselves and the world around them.
We help children reach their maximum potential through a wide range of experiences which will develop a child’s love of learning and discovery.
We have qualified, experienced and consistent staff. Our child adult ratio is 11:2.
We offer a morning and/or afternoon session, you can choose to use our service 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 days a week. Our preschool operates from September to August, Montessori from September to June and our Fun Club (after school) operates throughout the year. Fees are not charged for holiday periods.
We offer a large well equipped playground with grassed and matted areas providing a generous play space for children
For the free ECCE scheme instead of the 3 free hours a day we offer 3& 1/2hrs free a day (an extra 30mins daily at no extra cost),plus 2 free weeks in our summer camp as a thank you for choosing our service.
Our Montessori routine consists of

Activities linked to our weekly/monthly theme
Numbers, sounds, colours & shapes
Sand & water play
Arts & Crafts
Nature & cultural studies
Music, instruments & singing
Play time (we go outside when we can weather permitting)
Circle time - daily news, discussion time, stories and singing, basic introduction to Irish.
We take bookings at any stage throughout the year

Hi all,I would like to welcome you all back after our Christmas break and send out an special extra hello to the new children that started with us this past week. We hope you all enjoy your time with us at Over The Rainbow. Over the next few days I will be posting up some pictures of some of the activities that we did during your child's first term at Over The Rainbow- September to December.

Hi all,just a little reminder that Santa will be arriving for our Christmas party at Over The Rainbow on Wednesday the 21st for 10 o clock. Presents will be given to all the children at no extra cost. Photos will be taken on the day and given out before we break up for our Christmas Holidays on Friday the 23rd.

Hi all, I hope everyone had a great summer. I just wanted to let everyone know that the ECCE scheme children will be back on Wednesday the 31st of August. We are looking forward to the hear ahead and to meeting all your little ones.
