If you are considering a return to education Waterford Wexford Education and Training Board has all the supports you as a second chance learner may require Our QQI awards go from Level 1 to Level 5 and are supported when required by Adult Guidance Service, Adult Literacy Support and Childcare support.
We pride ourselves on putting the learner at the centre of what we do and on the positive and supportive atmosphere of the centre. Our individual programmes are designed to meet the diverse needs of those participating.

Are you currently employed and need to improve your computer skills? We have two courses starting in September for people in employment. On Tuesday evenings we have a Complete Beginners Computer Course and on Thursday evening we have a computer course covering word processing, email and social media. Leaving Certificate Applied..... Just a reminder to you all that we not only offer QQI certified and non certified courses. The centre also offers the Leaving Certificate Applied Course. The course is delivered over 2 years and is delivered at a pace that suits the student and with plenty of variety and support. It is aimed at those between 16 and 20 years old who for whatever reason did not complete a leaving certificate programme. On Thursday at our Open Day we look forward to welcoming Clannad Care. They will offer information on working in the Healthcare Sector supporting people to lie independent at home. If you would like to learn more we would be delighted to see you at the centre between 10am and 1pm.
Staff from HomeInstead will also be at our Open Day between 10am and 1pm, if you would like to learn more about working as a carer in the community call down. We would be delighted to see you....
We are delighted to confirm that staff from Havenwood Retirement Village will be at the Open Day on Thursday between 2pm and 4pm. They will give an overview of the work involved as a carer in a nursing home. If there are any questions you may have, its a good time to ask. Call down wed love to see you....
