PILATES is a functional movement and exercise method. It lengthens, strengthens and tones the body's muscles therefore is recommended by doctors, physios and therapists for back issues, fitness and has helped relieve symptoms of depression. Using PILATES exercises, my mission is to guide my clients to developing more toned, balanced bodies - strengthening weaker muscles of abdominal, back and/or limbs while lengthening tighter muscles thus improving posture....with the added bonus of fostering a greater sense of wellbeing and relaxation.

Science is not finite - what we know at the moment is not the end result, there's always more, groundbreaking research coming down the line to learn from... NEW and interesting information is coming out about the Pelvic Floor muscles, and their importance in our daily activities. Come along and see how I include this research in my PILATES sessions so we achieve better results, deal with leakage/incontinence and help ease back ache. Spring has arrived and its wonderful to see these brave flowers peeping out from cold, frosty ground - not unlike our bodies waking from winter excesses.. As my Pilates courses in Camp, Tralee and Kilmoyley finish for this season - I'd like to thank you all for being with me throughout the year.
