Description
Blobbing Ireland is a water sports centre located in Terryglass on the shores of Lough Derg The 'Blob' is a giant inflatable which consists of a 'jumper' and a 'blobber'. The 'blobber' sits at the end of the 'blob' and the 'jumper' leaps off the top of our tower resulting in the 'blobber' rocketing towards the sky before landing in the water.
On site there is one of the worlds best wakeboard boats, a Malibu Wakesetter VLX, which is a completely custom boat with our own chosen colors, from the outside to the stitching on the interior and a sound system with speakers you will hear while you are wakeboarding.
We have professional coaches on site all the time which means you don't have to book, you can decide when you get there. Our professional wakeboard coaches are approved and tested by the British waterski and wakeboard federation.
Chill out by the water and have a bbq with our on site barbecues, or even have a paddle at the beach
Shop
There is a shop on site which has a wide range of water sports gear including
• Wakeboards and bindings
• Wetsuits
• Life jackets and impact vests
• Drinks
• T-shirts, hoodies, etc.
We supply and fit our own safety equipment such as life jackets and helmets for the required activity. Wetsuits are an option and are available to rent at the shop

Places to stay:
Camping on site is not allowed. There are spaces for camper vans at the main harbor with newly built and maintained toilets and showers.
For those who would like to rent a cottage from us we have 8 holiday cottages in the village that sleep up to 8 people. For more information contact a member of the blobbing team and we can get you organized.
For other places to stay there are b&b's all around the village.
Groups and Parties:
Groups such as stag or hen parties, school or college trips, etc. are catered for. If you need more information please contact us.
