facebook.comThe excitment was nearly too much this morning in the Excel theatre for our Christmas trip. It was a lot of fun. I hope all the children enjoyed it. Christmas has officially started!
The unplanned activities are always the best. Styrofoam balls from the art box made snow when we cut them open and rubbed them together.
We got this box from the supermarket at Halloween. It has been a very popular open ended resource ever since. This morning it got a makeover and became a slide...
The photo doesn't do this creation justice. It took 45 minutes of trying different ideas and tweaking until it was perfect. It really isn't about the end product but the process of creating.

We made pictures with cinnamon sticks, star anise, dried orange slices and other lovely smelling things today

So many individuals, each with their own ideas...trying to get their ideas heard and accepted. Some ideas are used some discarded. Feelings get hurt and then it's forgotten. They may be 3 or 4 years old but it sounds very like any workplace....
The interest in building continued today with lots of children choosing to build marshmallow structures. There was a lot of self control involved..
