Sunburn Tips to Protect your Family Seek some shade and keep covered up. Wear a hat. Use sunglasses with UV protection Always use sunscreen from April to September. Apply sunscreen to dry skin 20 minutes before going out. Use a sunscreen with at least SPF 15 or higher. Children should use SPF 50. Reapply every 2 hours. Use a water resistant type if sweating or involved in water sports. Always check for the UVA logo on the bottle. Stay sunburn free and enjoy the good weather.
