Kilkenny World Taekwondo Association information page. The World Taekwondo Association® will help raise awareness of positive qualities within and will help you to nurture your confidence, patience, self discipline and positive mental attitude.
Through your training you will learn to overcome fear, self doubt and, most of all, achieve your potential.
Some students want practical training, some want regular exercise to tone up, build stamina and strength. Others train to relieve stress and anxiety built up through work, home, worry and every day life. Some to lose weight. Some for Fun. Some want competition, and others want to attain the Black Belt.
These are just some of the reasons why people train in the Martial Arts.
Whatever the reason, World Taekwondo Association® students will quickly become aware of the many benefits of training in Martial Arts. They will become confident that they are learning to defend themselves, and this quiet confidence filters through their everyday life.

Upcoming Dates to Note for the rest of the Year: Training for all in Grennan College, Thomastown on Sunday 22nd October at 1.30. A great training session promised, not to be missed!! Kilkenny Testing 26th November in Loreto College- Registration at 1.30 - start 2pm sharp. Tipp Testing Dec 3rd- Venue to be announced later. Black Belt Testing Dec 10th at Headquarters at 1.30 sharp.
Dates to note for next year 2018: Manchester Spring Open Championship April 28th and 29th 2018 Manchester Autumn open championship Oct 20th and 21st We will be attending both. Details to follow!
