Zen Shiatsu
AT / Meditation Shiatsu is a form of massage originating from ancient Japan and is sometimes called "acupuncture without the needles".
Shiatsu is a deeply relaxing experience and regular treatments help to prevent the build-up of stress in our daily lives.
It is a system for improving health, removing fatigue-causing elements, increasing body awareness, and stimulating the body's natural powers of recovery.
I am a fully qualified Shiatsu Therapist and am a member of the Shiatsu Society of Ireland.
Zen Shiatsu emphazises a calm and peaceful mind.
A calm mind is vital while giving Shiatsu and needs to be practiced every day.
I have learned Mindfulness and Compassion Meditation under the guidance of Tibetan Buddhist Teacher Lama Tschaglung Tulku Ngawang Gelek in Berlin and practice it now for many years.
In the practice I have found a powerful tool, which helps me to cope with
stressful situations and open me to a bigger view.
