A young man, with an ambition and a talent to match, i was lucky to not only meet this young man with the big talent but to have him work alongside me for a couple of seasons here at Awesome Adventures, you get to see the character of a person while paddling with them, Alex McGourty was tall and handsome, quiet but attentive, highly skilled, civil young man who never seemed to rush but was always ahead of most. Alex would be out on the water and you would wonder why is he away over there, but when you look closer you realise there is another young paddler out there who he was shadowing and keeping safe, Alex was at home on the water and i believe that's why he had that vision, it was just natural to him. Rest in Peace Alex and may your family and friends find strength at this sad time. jimmy

Annette Johnston brought Hanna and her friends down to Awesome Adventures for a birthday party with a difference and they sure packed a lot in while here at Glencar Lake. Thanks guys and hope to see you all again soon, jimmy.

Day 5 of camp 7, with more miserable weather we were unable to go on the mountain hike but luckily we have a lake right outside the door, so alas the fun goes on.

Day 4 of camp 7, river was cold but the lake was like a sauna when they came back

Day 3 of camp 7, we were nearly flooded out after the heavy rain but yet again the party kept going.

Day 2 of camp 7 and a wet day all round, but it still didnt stop the party.

Day 1 of camp 7, calm water but dull with lots of showers.

Day 4 of camp 6 and a very busy day!!!!

Day 3 of camp 6, the weather was a bit dull but the party rocked.

Day 2 of camp 6, went for a nature walk and had some nasty showers but it didnt damp'n any spirits in this bunch of adventure seekers.
