I finally managed to get some half way decent images of these porcelain lights. I love the way they glow and it has proven very difficult to capture. Till now!

I've been working on something new. Slipcast porcelain lighting. So far I have these t- lights. I have laboured a bit with these, learning what I'm doing wrong by doing it wrong and trying again - and again! Cluster pendant lighting and table lights on the way.

At class last Wednesday, one of my students wanted to work on some animal forms. We decided on inverting a vessel shape and working from there. I decided to have a go myself today and am ending up with a very strange beast indeed! I fear this one is destined for the recycle bin but what fun. I'm sure you'll fare better Anne.

Studio is finally cleared and production is full steam ahead again. Here are some of the twin pots thrown yesterday and finished today. I love pots at this leather hard stage - before they're dry. Cool and smooth to hold and decorated only by the shading of the throwing lines.
