The U7 & U9 blitz will be hosted by our club on Saturday 7th April. Hurling Blitz in Ballinakill Saturday 14th April U7&U9 U13 playing with Michael Dwyers are playing in a cross county league, their Semi U13 Football on 19th March in Fenagh at 10.30am v St Pat's Was postponed due to the weather. It will be rescheduled and winners play Moorefield at 12 Faye the semi in the Plate Final Training is at 7pm Mondays and Saturday 11am in Winetavern. Our u15s playing with Michael Dwyers are training Monday at 7pm with James Barrett's in Highpark Our U17'playing with Michael Dwyers have a match against Blessington at 6.30pm in our club grounds on Wednesday 28th March. U13, U15 & U17 are invited to Stratford Grangecon field Saturday 31st March 11am for a training session wPatrick Walsh PTh PT and for the easter party. This was a great success last year and was brilliant for the younger kids to look up to the older lads as role models. ..............and we WON!!! Our Intermediate team today played in their 4th match in the league away to Barndarrig GAA. Managed today by Paddy Byrne and Declan Bollard as Pat and Jimmy were unable to attend. Thanks Paddy. We played fierce well in the first half playing into the sun and against the hill. Young Ruairi Phelan taking a break from his leaving cert studies played remarkably well in the wing back position. We were winning 7-2 at half time. Barndarrig had a purple patch at the start of the second half scoring a goal. We responded with 2 frees from Ross Coogan. They kept putting the pressure on, our legs tired and we lost concentration resulting in Barndarrig getting a goal to bring them 3 points within reach of us. Mark Murphy kicked a point in the closing minutes securing our lead. Patrick Cronins head, hands and woodwork kept out a certain score at the death. We won 13-1:7.
