Lilliput is an All Day Care Center and Preschool situated in Connolly St, Sligo. Town center location. Participates in ECCE CEC CETS AND CCSP Schemes!! Lilliput was established in its current location 12 years ago. We have embraced and adapted to the continuous developments and changes which occur in the dynamic childcare environment. This positive attitude has ensured our service remains current at all times and offers the best possible service to you and your child.
At Lilliput we have an holistic approach to curriculum. Siolta: The National Quality Framework for Early Childhood Education. and Aistear: The National Frame Work For Curriculum are incorporated in all sections of the Center.
We provide care for children aged between 1-5 years according to the following age groups:
•All day care (7.30am-6pm)
•Wobblers (1-2 years)
•Toddlers(2-3 years)
•Pre-school (3-4) Participates in 'The Free Preschool Year'!! ECCE
Lilliput is open from 7.30 am to 6pm, 51 weeks a year. Morning/afternoon sessions, hourly rates, & full days available.
Starting September 2014: AFTER-SCHOOL CLUB 1.30-6.00pm (collections from Mercy Primary School)
At Lilliput we like to provide the children with a 'home-from-home'. All staff are highly trained, with references and Garda Clearance. We have a small team of long term staff who have being with us currently for a minimum of 4 years.

OPEN FRIDAY the 2/3/18! We have decided we will OPEN tomorrow friday the 2/3/18 from 9am-3pm, unless weather conditions deteriorate over night. Text messages will be issued in the morning should that happen. Anyone not going to attend tomorrow please send us a text asap.
Following a Risk Assesment we have made the decision to CLOSE TODAY. Staff are unable to reach the service so we would not be able to comply with ratios. We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused but as previously stated we must put peoples safety first.
❄ A Nationwide Satus Red Weather Warning was issued by Met Eireann at 11pm Wednesday the 28/2/18) ❄ Following advise previously issued by DCYA (The Department of Children & Youth Affairs) we will CLOSE at 2pm sharp on THURSDAY 1/3/18 as the welfare & safety of the children, parents and staff is paramount. As the Red alert also extends into Friday we are unsure as to whether or not it will be possible to open on the 2/3/18. Updates will be posted as soon as soon as we have more information.
*UPDATE* RED ALERT WAS ISSUED* CLOSING 2PM SHARP* Due to the bad weather conditions we are experiencing at present we have decided to open tomorrow (thursday) at 8.45am and close at 5pm. Any further changes will be posted asap 😊
