Ros Eo Community Childcare Centre Welcome your child to a child led Montessori based school incorporating learning through play with the emphasis on Literacy, Numeracy and promoting social and emotional skills.
Ros Eo Community Childcare Centre is in partnership with Trinity College in a visual arts & music programme.
Ros Eo Community Childcare Centre is registered with the HSE. It is currently delivering 2 Sessional services from 9:15am to 12.15. And 9.00am - 12.00pm Monday to Friday.
We cater for children aged 3 to 5 years and participate in the Community Childcare Subvention (CCS) and Universal Free Pre-School Year (ECCE) funded by the Department of Children & Youth Affairs.
The maximum number of children in a session is 21 and the maximum adult to children ration is 1:7.
Our team delivers a rich curriculum based on Aistear, the Early Childhood Curriculum Framework.

CCS (Community Childcare Subvention)
Ros Eo provides CCS places for children whose parents are in receipt of Social Welfare. To find out more about CCS and if you qualify for a reduced childcare place please contact Debbie Donnelly on

Ros Eo also provides Free ECCE sessional places Monday to Friday. ECCE is designed to give children access to a free Pre-School Year of appropriate programme-based activities in the year before they start primary school.
Parental Involvement....
Parents are invited to become involved in many areas of the Childcare Centre. As well as committee involvement, the childcare centre also welcomes parents to help out with other activities in our curriculum. Any parents who can share an interest with the children such as dancing, crafts, singing, or share knowledge of a profession are very welcome to. If you have a special talent e.g. playing an instrument, puppet skills, story-telling etc. we would love you to share it with the children.

Ros Eo community crèche has been in operation for over 20 years and is run by a voluntary committee. It is situated in Rush Community Centre.
