A tractor run in aid of Roscommon Cancer Support Service will take place Bank Holiday Monday March 19th from Roscommon Mart. Please come out and help us raise funds to provide a range of support services for local Roscommon people undergoing their cancer journey. Registration will be open from 12.30pm and the race will start at 2pm sharp. There will be a raffle and refreshments served after in the mart canteen
Come and enjoy the wild and mysterious Sligo landscape and get your walking boots on and join us on an adventure through the West of Ireland. The Sligo Camino trek is 36km and extends from Dromahair in County Leitrim to Coolaney in County Sligo, their 5th annual one-day hiking challenge will take place on Saturday July 7th. Registration opens April 1st and costs €35, you need to be registered to collect charity sponsorship. Today is World Cancer Day 2018. We would like to thank everyone who supports us to help us to support the users of Roscommon Cancer Support Service. Today especially we would like to encourage people to look after themselves and if you notice any unexplained changes in your health, for example; weight loss, lumps or bleeding, please consult your GP as soon as possible, don't wait as early intervention gives better prognosis. Calling animal lovers in the Elphin area! Can you help with our Head & Tails Pet Care service? Just a couple of hours a week is all we require. Contact us for information.
Along with our weekly Exercise and Relaxation classes, as well our monthly support group, we have the following Saturday workshops coming up. Booking for these days is essential, so reserve your place now. Last Saturday's Eyebrow workshop with Rachel from Bliss Beauty Studio was a great success, and we hope to run it again if we have enough interest. Meanwhile, if you have any feedback or suggestions, please feel welcome to let us know, and we'll try to run something for everyone!
