After feeling under the weather most of the week, I felt like just sitting on the couch for the evening. Fall and winter are the seasons of deficiency and depletion. It's time to build strength and focus on immunity! * This DIY Rejuvenate Milk Drink is part of my four week self care programme - The Basic Balance Reboot. * The ingredients are most likely already in your cupboard, or you can get them easily in the supermarket! * Enjoy 1-2 hours before bed. Trouble sleeping? Add a pinch of nutmeg! * Ingredients: 1 cup almond or coconut milk ½ tsp ghee ½ tsp turmeric Pinch cardamom Pinch cinnamon 1 tsp honey OR maple syrup OR 1 chopped/pitted medjool date * Method: Most recipes call for a sweetener and dates, but this is too sweet for me! I'm thinking of lots of 2018 goals this week. When I moved into my new apartment, I spent some time setting up my new workspace which I love. However, a full week at a desk is a slow form of torture for me, so many days I had to move to a standing desk just out of discomfort. As you can see, it is very basic - an empty kettle box and a few books in my kitchen cupboard 😂 it's definitely not glamorous, but it seems to work!
