David Smyth caters our school canteen and the lunches are always great; from soup and brown bread to chicken curry and fresh homemade scones.
Following the Department of Education directive, we will be closed Thursday and Friday. School will re-open on Monday 5th March.
Some TY artwork to take in on this very cold and snowy Wednesday morning! The bird project was done by using old newspapers, card, prints and markers. This project was inspired by the famous graffiti artist Banksy.

Juvenile hurling match today has been called off.
Jacinta Kitt, author and lecturer at Trinity College Dublin and Marino Institute of Educaiton has been booked by the Parents Council for Wednesday 14th March at 7:30pm. The title of her talk is “Creating Positive Relationships At Home and In School”. It is a fantastic opportunity for parents, teachers and anyone involved in working with young people to come together to hear some practical wisdom on how we can all try to build positive relationships.
Our Juvenile Hurlers play Tullamore in round 2 of the North Leinster Championship tomorrow, Tuesday at 12pm in Lomans. All local support greatly appreciated.
The very best of luck to Wayne Kelly, past pupil, boxing in the Elite Senior Championships tonight in the National Stadium. The event will be broadcast on RTÉ 2 from 7.30pm this evening. If Wayne wins tonight he's on the cards for booking his ticket to the Tokyo Olympics! 🤞🏻
