Uisneach Bealtaine Fire Celebration

Exhibiting at the Fire Festival this weekend Speaking about the entertainment, Marty Mulligan – the event programmer- promises a great evening of acoustic music, poetry, story-telling and traditional craft displays. “It will be like stepping back in time. The bards will tell stories and poems throughout the night and there will be some history talks and traditional music. There will be pockets of music throughout the hill and there will be wandering bards in costume and renowned Irish story-tellers. We will also have Mullingar Town Band preforming as well as Ballyncargy Comhaltas and the Lír Music Academy. As well as that various acoustic session will break out and we will have Helen Hassett who will sing for the president.” http://topic.ie/president-higgins-visit-2017-bealtaine-celebration-uisneach/
