Food Provenance We also run a business called Alternative Weddings at Mount Druid in Castletown Geoghegan. Here is our main kitchen as well as our gardens where we grow most of our produce (tomatoes, beetroot, herbs, root veggies, etc.). We employ 3 full time gardeners that work all year round to make sure that we have only the best, fresh, organic seasonal produce available for our kitchen. What we can’t grow ourselves we source as much as possible from local farmers and businesses. The fruit and veggie that we can’t grow we purchase from Fox’s Farm Fruit & Veggie in Mullingar. All our meats are 100% Irish. Our poultry is Irish, our Hams come from Carroll’s in Monaghan, the red meat comes from Joe Tynan in Tynan’s Butchers Mullingar who are farm butchers. All our eggs are free range and from local suppliers, our potatoes are Ballinagore Records all sourced in Westmeath.
