Our kitchen is headed by Chef Ajith Perera, also proprietor in partnership with his spouse Renu. Chef Ajith who is originally from Sri Lanka, studied to be a Chef at home, and acquired his experience in Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, working for the international Sofitel Group.
He’s been in Ireland since 2003. He worked at the Portmarnock Hotel and Golf link, the Dunboyne Castle in Co. Meath and spent three years at the Mullingar Park hotel and until 2 years ago was head chef for the Bakery Mullingar.
While he finds that Irish food is very different to the cuisine of Asia and the Middle East, he enjoys giving Peppers Café & Restaurant the taste of the exotic, specialising in fusion dishes, which marry the best of all worlds.
Commitment to quality: everything we can get locally, we get locally, and there’s nothing coming into our kitchen pre-prepared, only good food made from natural ingredients. Ajith, Renu and our Kitchen staff make everything from scratch – no bottles or tins, no frozen food.
Everything that leaves our kitchen is made with the utmost care to quality without compromising tallying value to what customers spend in our products without adding to the cost these products.
We provide catering for parties, barbecues, special occasion dinners, etc.
