Call a Car is thriving a successful business run by Patrick Gilsenan in Monaghan Town. The fleet consists of 7 cars, and 14, 16, 16, 20, 28 and 33 seater "Call A Car is a private business established by some local businessmen in Monaghan in 1989. (it celebrates 25 years this year.) In 2001 it was taken over by Patrick Gilsenan, and is now owned by Patrick, his wife Eleanor and his three daughters. It was the first big commercial taxi business in Monaghan town, and remains the most dominant one, serving all the local Hotels, as well as a host of local business's, schools, and private customers. In more recent years, Patrick has developed the bus side of the business, and now operates a range of buses, all of which are available to private clients. As well as school services, Patrick also does concert services, sports events, airport services, and weddings. Of course Hen and Stag Parties are also a big attraction nowadays. Having a taxi waiting room in Park Street in the heart of the Monaghan town, services are easily accessible and we operate very long opening hours. At present Patrick has buses available up to 33 seats, and also offers a wheelchair accessible service, if required. "
