Our acoustic insulation range centres on products for insulating against airborne sound transmission and impact sound transmission in floors, ceilings and walls.
We also market a range of anti vibration products designed to mitigate against the effects of vibration on structures and machines such as HVAC equipment, heavy and light manufacturing machinery, presses, mallets and shears.

We are looking to hire a Technical Sales Representative The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, organised individual who has the ability to use their own initiative. CVs to info@buildtec.ie Key Responsibilities: Achieve set sales targets. Responsible for close management of projects from concept to successful completion, liaising with all important stakeholders and acting as a conduit for information between client, site, specifier. Develop & present acoustic/design concepts to specifiers and clients, including Continuous Professional Development Seminars. Develop customer base and project portfolio within target market segments. Identifying & developing strategic national accounts. Negotiate with decision makers at all levels. Meet customers on regular basis to maintain awareness of company and product range. Monitor and report competitor activity. Identification of future complementary products to the range. Accurate & punctual reporting and forecasting. Any other reasonable duties within the individual’s capabilities. Candidate Profile Whilst product training will be given, the successful candidate should have: 2 -3 years experience in specification and business to business sales. Experience of working with Architects, Engineers and Contractors. Excellent commercial and communication skills, verbal and written. Confident presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence a variety of external stakeholders. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment . A good level of secondary education demonstrating high levels of literacy and numeracy. Fluency in both written and spoken English. Knowledge of the building industry is welcomed but not essential. Be highly self-motivated and able to work with autonomy as well as being part of a team. The remuneration package will reflect experience and ability and includes company car, mobile phone, laptop, out of pocket expenses and an uncapped performance based bonus scheme (paid annually).
