Description
Pre-school services for children between 2 years and 9 months to 5+ years. Carolanne Desmond has Fetac Level 6 qualification and 16 years of experience. Willowbank Preschool is child centred giving the children the opportunity to take responsibility and letting them choose what they want to play with. I am responsible for ensuring that the setting runs effectively and I am committed to promoting the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
I am providing a professional, caring, stimulating and nurturing environment giving the children the opportunity to learn in a fun 'home from home' atmosphere. Pre-school is a great first time experience for children to learn outside the home.
Natalia, my assistant, comes on a part-time basis and has completed Early Childhood Care and Education Fetac Level 5.
I cater for children ages ranging from 2 years 9 months to 5 years and above.
I also have a spacious safe outdoor play are for children to experience a range of developmentally appropriate activities.

Willowbank Pre-School is looking for a childcare assistant to join our team to work mornings or some afternoons. A minimum Fetac Level 6 in childcare and at least one years experience working in childcare are both essential. The children have been vety busy painting and decorating hedgehigs. Leaf printing. Colouring and scissor work. We even found an injured hedgehog in the garden and brought him to safety. We also played both inside and outside in our new updated play area. Lots of fun to be had by all.
Dear Parents, I am so excited to share our great news that we are currently building our new playground in our back garden!! First I would like to welcome 2nd year students and 1st year students to Willowbank Pre-School. What a great start as we begin our second week of the Autumn Term we have been busy playing, making friends, having fun and making choices about our own learning. It' hard to believe that anothet year has come to an end. I want to say a big 'THANK YOU' to all the parents for entrusting me with the most important people in your lives, your children. I feel very luck to have been part of their journey, over the year we have built a special bond one which i will never forget. All the children are amazing and i am really proud of what they have achieved. I want to thank Claire Keegan, Laura Desmond and Chloe Desmond for their help and support during the year. xx
We have been very busy over the past two weeks between Fathers Day activities, floor and table top activities and even one child at the hair dressers while doing a jigsaw. Lots and lots of fun had by all the childten. These day we are spending most of our time outside in the lovely sunshine.
