It was a privilege and an honour to be the only school in receipt of a Green Coast Award for one of our adoptive beaches, Ardnahinch in Shanagarry. This was the culmination of a lot of hard work by all of our students, Pat Fitzgerald, Christy Ring Jnr, Dave Clarke and Joe McCarthy of Cork County Council and Clean Coasts Ballynamona and Clean Coasts. Take a look at the PE notice board where we have used a number of cross curricular areas including; Gaeilge, literacy, physical education and wellbeing. Take a look at our numeracy area of the week where we look forward to the Champions League final and examine some statistics! We looked at some big sporting topics from the week with Munster Rugby, Cork Ladies football, Cork City, Real Madrid and local legend Sonia O' Sullivan.
