facebook.comDelighted to have produced this short video for the current official Best Single Malt Whiskey in the World, HYDE Whiskey Its all shot locally, using local people and places in Cork, and our local pub Ballinrostig - Poc Ar Buile with Swell Surfschool Craftyhands pottery studio also makes an appearance. Song Skibbereen sang by Claire Dillahunty and drone footage by Aircam. I think a Surf, a fire on the beach with some friends and some local whiskey followed by some Craic in the Pub is a great visitor experience and what I think visitors want but so often do not get access to. Ballinrostig - Poc Ar Buile is an absolute hidden gem and worth seeking out.

Midleton county Cork is a very special Irish town.I say this because when I arrived in Midleton 10 years ago it had the feel of a town in the south of France. This was mainly due to the wealth of fine restaurants and in my opinion one of Irelands best farmers markets and a great fresh fish shop. Southern French towns often have a winery, but Midleton has one of the world's best loved Whiskey distilleries in Jameson. I have felt for a long time that Midleton is one of Irelands top foodie towns even before the accolade was created. Midleton has also many boutique shops that people come to from near and far to shop in and as it is only a short train journey from Cork city, Midleton is a must visit destination for foreign and local tourist alike. So when I was asked to make a video for the Midleton food festival 2015 I jumped at the chance to show what I saw in the town when I arrived. I Hope you enjoy the video below. Please share and like and let the world know what Eastcork people have known for years.
